Chapter 8

- Violet's POV -

I arrived at the hospital and quickly found Taylor's brother walking around the waiting room, looking worried and mad.

" Hey, have they told you anything yet?" I ask.

" No, but for all I know Taylor could be dead." Jacob saids letting a tear escape his eye.

" Everything is going to be ok, we just have to stay positive." I say half smiling and putting my hand on Jacob's shoulder.

He jerked his head up, removed my hand from his shoulder and then his whole mood changed.

" Don't tell me everything is going to be ok. This is all of your fault." He said sharply.

" My fault? How is it my fault when 1) I don't even know what happened and 2) I wasn't even with him, YOU were. So if anyone should be pointing a finger at someone, it should be me pointing a finger at you. I say raising my voice. I would have said more, but the doctor walked in.

" Taylor Caniff's family?" The doctor said. Jacob and I both stood up.

" I can only talk to his immediate family." I sat back down and waited for Jacob to come back and tell me the news. He came back. and sat down, but didn't say a word. I looked at him he looked at me. I started to get frustrated.

" Well, what did she say?"

" Oh yeah, he's fine, he just had a heart attack from too much stress. You can go see him if you want. Jacob said like that wasn't a big deal. I gave him a look, then got up to visit Taylor.

I walked in his room and saw him laying there, hooked up to a bunch of machines. It pained me inside to see him like this. He looked over at me and his face lit up with joy, then all bis joy disappeared. I got closer to him and grabbed his hand, he tried to move it, but I grabbed it just in time.

" Taylor, I'm so sorry, I can't help, but feel this is kinda my fault."

" It kinda is Violet." he said looking at me then looking away.

" How?'

" You know how Violet, don't play stupid." Taylor said getting mad. I thought and thought how is it my fault then it hit me.

" I'm so so sorry babe. It was a mistake, an honest mistake. I was just really mad and hurt and I wasn't thinking at all." I cried. He looked up at me, green eyes filled with forgiveness. He kissed my hand.

" I forgive you baby, just never do it again please. I love you and I want you to be mine and only mine." He said smiling

" Oh trust me I won't, it was a big mistake and I won't do it ever again. I'll never kick you out the house ever again."

- Taylor's POV-

" It kinda is Violet." I say looking at her then looking away. Her and Jacob are the reasons I'm in this stupid place.

" How?" she asked stupidly. I got mad.

" You know how Violet, don't play stupid." I sad madly. She just stood there trying to figure out what she did. She knows how she slept with Aaron, while we were still together. She may have kicked me out that night, but she never ended things between us.

" I'm so so sorry babe. It was a mistake, an honest mistake. I was just really mad and hurt and I wasn't thinking at all" she cried. I know I shouldn't forgive her this easily, but I could see the guilt in her eyes. I looked up at her, grabbed her hand and kissed it as a sign that I forgive her.

" I forgive you baby, just never do it again please. I love you and I want you to be mine and only mine." I say smiling.

" Oh trust me I won't, it was a big mistake and I won't do it ever again. I'll never kick you out the house ever again."

" What?" I ask confused.

" The reason you were stressed is because I kicked you out my house, instead of us just talking in out. " She said trying to cover up the real reason.

" No, Violet that's not why I got stressed out." I said looking at her.

" Then wh-" I cut her off I couldn't stand anymore of her fucking lies.

" Violet just go. I can't stand anymore of your lies." I said pointing feariously to the door.

" But Taylor, I lov-"

" You don't love me, if you loved me you wouldn't lie straight to my face. "

" Taylor I don't kn-"

" GET OUT HE-" I stopped in the middle of my sentence I couldn't breathe. What's going on? I can't move. I ca-.

Everything went blank.
