Chapter 22

~Violet's POV ~

We were laid across our new, shared bed watching movies on Netflix. Taylor and I bought a house together, it's huge and gorgeous. It's our way of getting a fresh start together. Forgetting about all the bad things in the past. Taylor's arms were wrapped around me, securing me, making sure that I was safe. My head was resting on his chest hearing his lovely heart beat.

"It feels so good to have you back home Tay." I say smiling. Taylor kissed the top on my head.

"It feels good to be back Vi. It sucked every moment I wasn't with you. I felt so lost and confused without you. I love you so much Violet." Taylor said. I looked up and saw him smiling a big smile.

"I love you too Taylor. You're my sunshine and the reason I smile every day and that's why I'm yours forever." Taylor pressed his soft lips against mine. It felt so lovely. Passion was felt all throughout the kiss. Then I felt Taylor smile, which caused me to do the same.

"I'm going to make it super official Vi." Taylor said. I looked up at him with a confused look.

"What do you mean Tay, you already have many times."

"I know I have, but I want to make it even more official baby."

" How?" I ask. He let out a small laugh.

"You have to wait til tomorrow." I smiled then playfully hit Taylor.

"Taylor you know how much I hate surprises."

"I know." He says smirking. He looked down at me and placed a small kiss on my cheek. Moments later I fell asleep in Taylor's arms. Knowing I was safe and secure.

I woke up to the smell of bacon. I walked down the stairs and to my surprise saw Taylor cooking.

" I didn't burn it this time baby." He said cheerfully. I began to laugh uncontrollably. I walked over to the table and waited to be served my food.

Once it was ready I started eating. The bacon was cooked to perfection and so were the eggs.

"You really out did yourself Caniff. I'm proud of you." I say smiling.

"Thanks Vi. Only for you." He says and smiles back.

"So where are you taking me today." I ask curiously. I just needed to know what my surprise is, the excitement was killing me.

"Patience babe you'll find out soon enough, but we have to start getting ready. It's almost 12 and we have to be at the first surprise by 12:30." Tay said.

"Can I at least know how I'm suppose to dress." I ask.

" Wear something fancy, but not too fancy." He says and walks in the kitchen to clean up the mess.

I made my way up the stairs and began to ready myself. I went to the bathroom and hopped in the shower. Once I was finished, I wrapped the towel around me and started brushing my teeth. I finished and walked to my closet to pick out a an outfit. I picked out my galaxy skirt and shirt, with matching converse and a matching bow.

I walked to the mirror and decided to leave my hair at its natural state; a curly Afro. I put the bow on to complete my look.

I walked down the stairs to see a gorgeous Taylor Caniff waiting for me at the bottom of the staircase. He had on a classic black and white tux on with a matching black bandana.

"Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe how you look Violet." Taylor said kissing me. I smiled in between the kiss and so did he.

"Let's go baby he said."
