Jo suggested we go to Jeremy's trailer to kill time. I wasn't so sure though. After this morning, with her shirt; and Jeremy being there... Jeremy can be dangerously romantic and I didn't feel 100 percent keen on the idea of going over there. But who was I to stop her? I even lead the way there so she wouldn't suspect anything.

Knocking on his door, I immediately regret coming over. He open's the door still dressed as Hawkeye, all leather uniform. He was uncomfortably welcoming, but I smiled, as he is my co-worker and I actually am a really good friend of his. I just know how he treats women.

I didn't hear much of what he said, just answering when spoken to. I flash a smile at him and sit on the couch near Jo. She scooted away though, creating and opening for Jeremy to sit in. And he does sit, without question, and I don't mind really.

Jeremy keeps his back turned to me, so I stare at the back of his buzzed hair, while he talks up Jo. I zone out, not too interested in the conversation, pretending to keep myself occupied.

Jo's voice snaps me back to reality, "You okay there, Tom?"

I grin at my hands and answer my friend, "Yea, yea. I was just thinking."

"'Bout what?"

"Ah, nothing really." Lies. I think to myself. I'm thinking about my Joan. Her safety emotionally and physically with Jeremy. She goes back to her conversation with Renni and I overhear him ask, in a very flirtatious tone, "Wanna join me on set while I'm up? It'll be fun and we can do dinner afterward."

No Jo. Say. No. Please. I plead in my head.

Yea! I guess that'll be fun!" No! He has hand interlocked with hers. I stare lasers into their palms, hoping they'll let go. They don't. Jeremy is already halfway out the door, towing Jo close behind.

"I have to get going now to prepare for my time in front of the camera." As I leave, I grab her wrist, and in a desperate attempt to warn her I whisper, "I guess I should've told you that he's the romantic type. Be careful." Then out loud, "Bye Jo. Good luck with your filming Renni." I turn on my heels and head in the opposite direction of them, and head directly towards my trailer.

I don't have to get ready, I have another hour to an hour and a half. As one of her best friends, I couldn't stand and watch her dig her own emotional grave. Her feelings might have been masked by her excitement for Emily's relationship status.

Because Emily and Jo hang out in Chris' trailer, Chris usually ends up in my lap. And in my trailer is exactly where I find him.

"Tom! I have the most amazing news!"

I put on a smile and act enthused, though I know what he's going to tell me, "Why are you wasting my time leaving me in suspense! Spill!"

"Haha! Tom, Emily and I are now dating! Can you believe it? After weeks of admiring her from afar, she's finally mine!"

"That's fantastic news, Chris! What did you say?"

"Well she started out first, explaining the situation about when I walked in on Jo and her fighting. Apparently she's liked me for a while too and I kissed her! Like it was meant to be!"

"Meant to be..." I repeat to myself. Quickly I recover my thoughts and celebrate with Chris. I grab his shoulder, "Congrats, man!"

"I saw Jo come this way." He quickly switches topic, "Where'd she go?"
