The unexpected arrival

Sonic's POV

Hi, I'm Sonic, Sonic the hedgehog. Shadow and myself have out first day at Emerald High today but thanks to our driver we were late. Luckily me, Shadow and Knuckles are in the same class but knuckles has to arrive later for some reason. My manager said something about "so we don't freak out the school". We're actors, not singers. I hope we don't get screamed at or asked to sign some stuff because I just want to have a normal life. I was walking down a corridor that said 'The headmaster's office' at the end, which apparently our class shared the same corridor. On the way down, I saw tails leave the room and head over to one of the girls before they held hands and walked off. Knowing tails, he would be headed over to Science. It is his favourite subject and always likes to be there earlier than the class to get the better equipment. Shadow opened the door to the same room that Tails had just left and headed inside, with me just behind him. As soon as we opened the door and stood in room, we were greeted by the teacher. "Ah you two are must be shadow and sonic. I'm your form tutor and will be with you until the end of your time here..... CLASS LISTEN UP PLEASE!! This is shadow and sonic and they are with Tails in the same acting group" people turned and looked at us and I noticed a few girls staring at us, it was kinda creepy. "Hi, I'm sonic and this is shadow ....." shadow lifted his hand an waved ".... please treat us like normal students please and enjoy your day" I said with a smile. I could see a few girls looking at me and then whispering to their friends. I looked at the teacher who gestured towards the seats at the back of the class. I nodded and walked to the seats with shadow following Behind me. We sat down and I leaned over to Shadow to talk in a hushed voice.

Shadows pov

The instant we walked into the class, I regretted it. The teacher came over and soon began addressing the class but I let sonic do all the talking. I was deep in my own thoughts, when I heard " ....and this is shadow" I looked up and waved slightly before sonic continued taking. I looked briefly around the room and saw several girls staring at me and sonic. I noticed that sonic was heading to seats and followed behind him. I could tell it was awkward for him as he started talking to me about something random. I was barely paying attention as I looked outside. The door suddenly swung open with a bang. Tails and the girl from earlier had walked back into the room, Tails looked at us and smiled before whispering in the girls ear. She seems rather shy. The girl nodded her head at whatever was said before Tails pulled the girl toward us.
They sat down at the table In front of us before turning round in their seats to look at us. "Hey guys, this is Cream. Cream this is Sonic and Shadow" I nodded at her as sonic shook her hand whilst looking at Tails grinning "So you and Cream, huh?" Cream blushes as tails put his arm around her. 

All of a sudden, the teacher yelled at the top of his voice holding some kind of devise to his ear. It looked similar to a phone but had some other features. 

"EXCUSE ME EVERYONE! MAY EVERYONE MOVE TO THE WALL TOWARDS THE WALL WITH THE DOOR ON IT, AS FAR AWAY FROM THE WINDOW AS POSSIBLE!!" the teacher yelled and I didn't need to be told again to know it can't be good. so I got up, and walked over towards the door on the other side of the room. Everyone followed my suit and we were now against the wall as far as we could get. It was quiet one second and the next, the windows shattered. All the glass was in shards on the floor, chairs and tables where we were just sat. The window frame fell out of the wall, Crashing to the ground below in a deep thud. Tails had moved to stand in front of cream. Myself and sonic stayed as we were, Preparing from what was about to happen. Despite the window being gone, there was nothing else visable to help us understand what was creating the attack. With the several years of acting hehind all of us in the sort of work we completed, I think we had all naturally learned a few things throughout all the training. After a long minute,  I could see some kind of space ship in the distance heading towards Emerald High. It looked like there was a figure flying around in front, deflecting what looked like lasers. I glanced over at Sonic, but he just shrugged. Then we heard what sounded like a deep laugh coming from the battele. It sounded familiar from when I was younger but I wasn't able to place it. I noticed that the figure that was floating around the ship, was a girl with pink quills. She was flying quite fast as she was being chased by what now is looking like a huge robot. I looked back at Sonic and Tails as they seemed to come to the same thought. I quickly read into Sonics mind 'It can't be... He's dead! How is this possible and who is he chasing?'. I replied telepathically to Sonic: 'Sonic, is it me or does that look like eggmans robot?' He looked at me and nodded. He looked down to Tails who was still standing in front of Cream. I turned back to the at the girl who seemed to be flying as if she was standing up straight with her back to us. 

All of a sudden, a blinding light flew out of her hands, shooting out straight towards the robot. Once the light hit the robot, the ship exploded and the girl was hit by the blast. She was thrown into our classroom where she then began rolling with speed across broken glass before she slowed down and stopped in front of us. I could hear sonic's thought 'is she okay? Is she even alive?' I stared down at the girl who appeared to have stopped moving. No one dared to move. I was deciding whether to move but before anyone could do anything she got up slowly groaning supporting herself on a table. Her eyes looked around the room, slowly meeting each one of our eyes before meeting the teachers who was staring at the gaping hole in the side of his classroom. She turned back towards where she came in, wincing as she wiped her hand over her eyebrow, smearing blood across her forehead. Her eyes skimmed over all the damage before  she held her hands up towards the open space. The blast's heat seemed to only now be entering the classroom, which only shows how much of the impact she took from the explosion. Small beams of light emanated off her hands slowly creating what appeared to look like a force field which spread across the non-windowed wall. Looking out past the girl, I noticed that a huge piece of metal that was flying towards the classroom we were in. I held my breath and hoped that whatever she was doing would protect the school from any further damage. I began overving the girl, taking notice that she seemed to be shivering or shaking, or maybe even both. My eyes  flicked back towards the metal and breathed a sigh of releif as it hit the force field, and turned into dust on impact. The force field's light seemed to dim as all the metal was destroyed before the girl suddenly dropped to her knees. The Force field disapeared and the cold air once again filled the room. After a short period of heavy breathing, the girl slowly stood back to her feet before turning back towards us again. "I'm sorry sir for the mess, I'll..uh... clear it up immediately" she said in a small voice. Her clothes seemed to be ripped on places and she looked exhausted. She walked closer to the edge of the floor, where the windows once were, and slowly lifted her hands, with her palms flat towards the open space. I could hear the glass breaking under her feet and noticed she wasn't wearing shoes! Her hands glowed and shorlty after, there was some cracking and creaking  and thet he window frames popped into view. The wooden peices slotted back to where they once were as pink light glowed on the edges of frames as the wood all locked into the wall again. She moved back slightly and held her hands towards the floor. We watched in aw as the the glass shards on the floor glowed pink slowly floating into the air. It looked amazing, all the shades of pink and the glass reflecting all the colours from outside.Everyone was still speechless. The glass shards seemed to form back into separate windows and fixed into the frames. It looked like a jigsaw puzzle before a wave covered over the glass like water, creating a gloss affect and the cracks were no longer visible. A exhale was last heard before the girl swayed forward, crashing into the floor. 

I ran moved forwards towards her and held and slowly lifted her up in my arms. Her eyes fluttered open half way as she whispered "th-than--kk yo...you"I looked down at her and smiled. I was kneeling, facing away from class, and sir came over to me. "Is Amy okay?" I looked down at the girl again. Amy? That's a really nice name, she was so beautiful. I nodded and slowly stood up slowly with her in my arms and she winced slightly as I adjusted her in my arms. Sonic came over behind me. I think the teacher suddenly came out of his shock and said quickly "take the prince-.... I mean Amy down to the nurse's office, immediately. She may need some of her wounds cleaning and dressing but she does alot of her healing on her own. Remember when she wakes up to keep whatever questions you have simple and help the nurse with whatever she needs. Once she is feeling better, it will be worth her staying there for a bit of time, not only to heal but to help with the gossip and keep her away from the immediate rush....And don't forget the drink of water! No one likes a dry throat hard work"

I nodded before dashing down the nurse's office. I had to find it first but luckily they had arrows pointing to the medical area. I nocked on the door before using my foot to push my way inside. The room was dark and no one was here. I sighed as I looked around before I placed her on the bed and headed over to some draws to read the labels. I didn't really know where to start as I began pulling odd bits out which looked most useful. I have provided first aid before, but not on such a large scale as this is usually dealt with the Hospital teams.   I headed back over to the girl I now know is called Amy and took note of all the injuries that I could see. I had so many questions but I definately knew, I wouldn't be getting those answers anytime soon.
