Chapter 15 - The Plan

Random Sharpedo's POV

A Pelipper came to find me.

"I found Princess Topaz!" he said, "she's in Undella Town."

"I'll go tell the king and queen immediately!" I said.

"Wait!" he said, "there's more I have to tell you!"

"There's more?" I asked.

"Yes," he said, "now don't interrupt me until I'm done."

"Ok," I said.

"She's with humans and she is human!" I nodded and he continued, "and she's PREGNANT!"

"Wait! What!?" I exclaimed, "how can you tell? It's only been a few weeks!"

"She looks like she's in her second trimester," he said.

"That's impossible!" I exclaimed.

"Go!" he said, "tell the king and queen now!"

"Ok!" I said as I swam off. When I arrived at the castle it was already dark out. I went straight to the throne room.

I greeted the king and queen, "your majesties."

"What is it Sharpedo?" the king asked.

"We found Princess Topaz," I responded.

"That's great news!" the queen said.

"Why isn't she with you?" he inquired.

"Well, you see," I said, "she's in Undella Town with humans and and she..."

"HUMANS!?" he yelled.

"And she what?" she asked.

"She's human," I said, "and she's pregnant." Shock came across their faces.

"Retrieve her at once!" he ordered.

"Yes," I began but I was interrupted by the queen, "I'll go get her."

"But," he said, "Lapis, my dear."

"No, I've been on land before," she said. The king looked surprised.

"Besides, you're asking an impossible task of this Sharpedo," she said.

"We can send a Pelipper," he said, "we don't need you getting hurt."

"I'll go find the Pelipper that sent me," I said.

"No need," she said sternly, "I'm going to get my daughter."

"Please," he pleaded, "at least take somebody with you."

"Like who?" she inquired.

Prince Zane appeared and said, "I'll go with her! Topaz is my wife after all."

"Then it's decided," Queen Lapis said, "my son-in-law and I shall go retrieve Topaz!"
