The three chewed their food in the studio silently as they shifted eyes from one friend to the other.
"I love pepperoni." Dustin admitted. "And when they add bacon." He moaned.
"We know, Dustin." Kendall looked at his pizza as if it was the first time he had seen one.
"Thanks for the dinner." Dustin winked at Christina. "You know what I love."
"Any time." She looked over at Kendall who avoided eye contact with her.
"Hey Christina." Kendall caught her staring at him. He placed his slice back on the pizza cardboard box. "Why did you tell Dustin about the incident?" He nearly glared at her. Her eyes shifted to the dark haired boy.
"Woah, I told him I knew, I didn't tell him who." Dustin held his hands up, each hand holding a slice of pizza.
"But I was the only one who knew, thanks Dustin." She turned to Kendall. "He deserved to know."
"I already made assumptions." Dustin added.
"That was something I had to tell him at some point." Kendall snapped.
"And when was that supposed to happen? Christmas?" Christina hissed.
"Woah, woah. Don't get angry about that." Dustin lowered his two slices of pizza onto the box. "Don't fight."
"Why is it a big deal telling him?" Christina exclaimed. Kendall shut his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. "He's your best friend too."
"I didn't want him to worry."
"I didn't worry. You were in good hands that night." Dustin tried to calm both of them down.
"Why don't you just tell me you're upset because I walked in on your little secret. You didn't tell me you had a studio."
"I didn't think you would care."
"I wouldn't- I've always cared!" Christina's heart pounded. She never thought she would fight with Kendall like this.
"Some things are done privately and are better when its private." He sighed.
"How come you told me about sitting on the top of the roof? That was private. Or was it because you had no other choice but to show me?"
"Kind of." Kendall muttered.
"I'll mind my own business next time."
"Please do." Kendall snapped. Christina stood up from the couch and headed towards the door.
"Woah no." Dustin jumped up and pulled her down on the couch with him. "You in here." He picked her up and put her in the booth. She fell down and made a thump noise. "And you, in there too." He grabbed Kendall and shoved him in the booth as well. He locked the door from the outside.
"What the hell?!" They both screamed.
"Open the door, Dustin." Kendall glared.
Dustin took a seat in the big chair and pressed a button. "Not until both of you make up."
"I'm sorry I did the right thing and told Dustin what he needed to know about you." Christina crossed her arms. "There, can we go now?"
"No." Dustin pressed the button right before spinning around in the chair rapidly.
"Stop being a little-" Kendall stopped himself. Christina's eyes widened. "Dustin!" Kendall yelled.
Dustin stopped spinning around and said, "Thats my name don't wear it out."
