Throughout my next lesson, I couldn't help but think about the previous events. Was everything Grayson said the truth? I mean when I first met him, he seemed pretty set on telling me that he'd slept with "a few girls" and this whole conspiracy of him sleeping with nearly every girl in the entire school did kind of seem like a far fetched rumour but then again teenagers are probably the most looked down upon age group.
"Miss Richards?" I glance up and face my angry looking history teacher, Mrs Barnes.
I lift off my crossed arms which are resting on the desk and act as though I was actually paying attention to her discussion on the history of England"Yes, Ma'am?" I say sharply. She unfolds her arms and puts her hands firmly on the desk.
"You do realise the topic we are discussing is part of your exam that is twenty-five percent of your final grade overall, right?" Mrs Barnes says firmly.
"Yeah"
"Then you'd do well to listen. Starting this school four weeks into a term isn't exactly the most amazing idea and so far by the looks of your notebook; you are failing. So I suggest you pay attention and not be dilly dallying around thinking about things that are less important"
She storms back over to the front of the classroom and carries on with her lecture. Bitch. Just as she is about to suggest an activity, the door swings open."I have arrived" says Grayson cockily opening his arms to present himself. I roll my eyes and laugh while all the girls drool and some of the boys watch in envy, others looked as though they wanted to stamp on his face.
"And so has is amazing and better looking best friend" and in comes another boy, similar height to Grayson but with dark brown almost black hair, he had a slightly chiselled jaw with slightly plump lips and big brown eyes. He dressed casually but well, as if he could model any outfit thrown his way.
I glanced at Grayson and his eyes met with mine, he noticed I was sitting alone and gave a small smile, not like his usual smirk that would drive any other girl crazy but a smile that actually looked like he cared. For a moment. It quickly changed into a smirk and he looked anywhere else but me. I looked down and away from him, more towards my teacher - who looked like she was about five seconds away from ripping Grayson and his friends' head off.
"Mr Adams and Mr Andrews, can I ask you why you're late and interrupting my lesson?" She says firmly, folding her arms in annoyance.
Grayson shoves a note in her hand before he and his friend walk over to the back of the class, passing me, to go sit with some other boys. Mrs Barnes reads the note before scrunching it up and tossing it in the bin.
"Right now let's continue"Throughout the lesson, I didn't pay attention to Mrs Barnes, neither did Grayson. I kept noticing in the corner of my eye him staring at me and I don't know for what reason. Once the bell rang everyone collected their stuff and made their way to the exit.
"Mr Adams, Mr Andrews and Miss Richards; a moment of your time please" I roll my eyes and walk over to the front of the room along with Grayson and his friend. I watch the rest of the class leave the room chatting amongst themselves, oh how I wished I could be them.
"Right Mr Adams tell me truth, where were you in the first half of my lesson?"Grayson looks surprised, I glance at him before looking down at the floor again. He scratches the back of his neck awkwardly, "I gave you a note Mrs, that should of told you and been signed by coach to say that he knew we were there"
