We've sealed the Breach. The Kaiju has been defeated. And the Earth can finally live in peace.

The Hong Kong Shatterdome. One of the most prominent and most important locations around the world. The base seems to be built directly into the mountainside of the island outside Hong Kong Bay, the rock wall forming the roof structure. The entire base seemed to be around three or maybe six times the size of the Singapore National Stadium, around over 2,000m in diameter, with the roof rising over 600m. Along the walls and the open area, there was what could be large scaffolding, while there were large machines moving about. There were also many bays for Jaegers to be placed inside. In addition, there was some kind of clock that hasn't been used since the Breach had been sealed.

Today was one of the few quiet days of the Shatterdome. Almost everyone has gone off to relax with their families, take a vacation, or are sleeping in for the day. In addition, some automated machinery were doing some minor internal systems checks and updates to some of the Jaegers that are stationed and held here.

At the Kwoon Training Area, someone was honing their skills against some hard-light holographic projections of Kaiju that had existed during the Kaiju War, and that someone was holding his ground against the projections.

That someone is none other than the new Marshal of the Pan Pacific Defence Corps. Braedey Martin. Braedey's skin tone is a Caspian white, making him look like he's a ghost. He now looked to be 25 years of age, but he looked like he is 20 by the face. His eyes are a cobalt blue, whilst his neck-length shaggy hair is now a golden brown colour. He stands 7ft 5" tall, whilst his body is skinny. He has broad shoulders, with lean legs and arms, whilst he has lean muscles hidden from view. He looks like his dominant hand is his left, since he leads with a left step. He is wearing a skintight flexible jumpsuit in cobalt blue with yellow lining along the arm and leg holes, a pair of fingerless black gloves, and a pair jet black combat boots.

It has been approximately five years since we had defeated he Kaiju and sealed the Breach for good. But, it doesn't mean we've stopped on progress. We have improved on the Jaeger Program, along with our training methods, and we have more pilots and Jaegers than before.

Braedey glared at the two hologram projections of two Kaiju before him, one being the Category 3 Kaiju Knifehead, and the other as Category 5 Slattern, the two projections about his size. He rolled his shoulders, and got into a Kung-Fu battle stance.

Knifehead is large and bulky, a heavily built Kaiju. The most notable feature is the long and broad, sharp-ended nose. Atop the centre of its head resides a blowhole like a whale. It has large, shell-like armour on its back while the rest of its body was similar to that of a goblin shark in appearance. Knifehead possesses two large dominant arms and two smaller secondary arms protruding from its belly. Its large arms each have three-clawed digits, the middle digit being significantly larger. It also has a tail. Bright yellow lines run through a pattern across its body, with the rest of its body being a dark grey. Its eyes and the interior of its mouth, however, glow blue. The Kaiju's primary forearm bones have a fleshless gap between them, looking like two fused arms ending in three-digited claws.

Slattern has thick, leathery skin and has a tail that splits into three that have a triple-crowned tip to them that look like they could do some damage. It also has a spike-like protrusion on its chest. The Kaiju's body looked to be glowing with blue bioluminescence markings across its body, along with around its eyes. It's face is an asymmetrical facial structure similar to that of a hammerhead shark that contain two blue eyes on each side of the head, with the Kaiju's chin being slanted. Finally, it's large arms are fused, ending down in three-digit claws.
