Inside of a PPDC prison cell, both Jake and Amara sat side by side, looking down at the floor, neither one of them looking at one another. Nearby, Alice and Alex were standing by the cell, talking to some of the guards.

"You should have let me pilot it." Jake stated.

"So, this is my fault?" Amara snapped angrily. "You broke into my command centre."

"Wait, your command centre?" Jake asked sarcastically.

"Yes. My command centre. Yes!" Amara snapped.

"Sorry, I did not hear you. Your command centre?" Jake asked.

"First of all, you have no right to enter without permission, and try to tell me what to do." Amara snapped back.

"If I wasn't there, you would've been caught faster." Jake interjected.

"And it worked fine, right? See where we are." Amara snapped to.

"You know, your upper lip should meet with your bottom lip, and stay there." Jake stated.

"Shut up." Amara snapped.

"Shut up. This conversation is over." Jake grumbled.

"Good." Amara scoffed, and the two fell into silence.

"Junkyard Baby." Jake muttered. He then had a thought, and looked to Amara. "Why did you make it?" He asked her.

"What happened with closing the mouth?" Amara asked.

"You said you didn't want to sell it, so what are you gonna do?" Jake asked. "Rob a bank or something?"

Amara sighed. "I made it because one day, they will come back." This got Alice and Alex's attention, as they looked into the cell. "The Kaiju. When that happens, I do not want to wait for someone to save my life. Not like before."

"Well..." Jake muttered, just as two guards walked into the cell.

"You. Come on." One guard said to Jake, grabbing him by the back of his coat, and walked off with him to the interrogation room.

Alice looked to Amara, then over to her brother. "Alex, you go and tell Braedey over the Comms about what happened. I'm gonna go talk to Amara." She told him.

"Got it." Alex nodded, and headed off to Cosmic Apogee.

Alice walked into the cell, and sat down next to Amara. The two sat in silence, but it was somewhat of a comforting silence.

"Alice?" This got the Jaeger pilot's attention. "Can I ask you something, if you don't mind me?" She asked her.

"Sure. What do you want to ask me?" Alice asked Amara.

"How did you even become a Jaeger Pilot?" Amara asked. "I mean, you look pretty cool in armour, and also, you and your brother are some of the legendary pilots that won the Kaiju War."

Alice smiled a little, and began to think back to when she and Alex joined in the Kaiju War, and the two of them being the pilots of Cosmic Apogee. But, before she could, a beeping sound could be heard from her left wrist. Both she and Amara looked to her wrist, and saw an alarm going off.

"Darn it." Alice muttered, then looked to Amara. "I'm sorry, Amara. But, my brother is calling me back to Cosmic Apogee. But, I promise I'll tell you about my past. Okay?"

"Sure." Amara nodded. "Thank you."

Alice smiled to the young girl, then headed out of the cell, as the door closed behind her, and she headed off back to her Mark-5 Jaeger.
