Lucky Me

Chapter 3

"Come on girls! You got it. Keep going!" I say to my team. We are sprinting. Me being the captain I run the practices most of the time, and lately at our games we haven't been running that fast. So we do conditioning. Hardcore. Our motto is 'Train insane or remain the same.'

"I can't handle it anymore" cries a girl.

"We've been running for 30 minutes" another girl says.

"It will be another 30 minutes if you keep jogging." I yell out.

I'm not mean during practice. I just want my team to be the best of the best. In order to be that we have to condition. That's what we do.

"Okay. All done. Drop and give me 20 and we are done conditioning!" I yell.

"Done"

And more of them as they finish the push ups.

"Get into 2 groups. You can chose." I say as I get set for a scrimmage.

"Okay ladies. We are playing 30 minute halves game." I yell.

I'm at forward also is Leslie. But Leslie is on the other team.

My side kicks off. I get the ball and pass it back to the mid fielder. She takes it down to the box and centers it down the middle, I sprint to get the ball and shoot. GOOOOAAAALLLL!!!!

"I was going easy on you Brown." The goalie calls out playfully.

"Whatever you want to say." I say with a big smile.

The ball gets tapped to Leslie and she passes it back to the girl who's name is Cassie. With the pass from Leslie, Cassie got down to the goal box and Maggie (a defender on my side) pressured her and Maggie hurt her ankle. She fell to the floor and was holding her ankle. I ran to help, we picked her up and took her to the nurse. Maggie broke her ankle. She was the best defender on the team. She wouldn't be able to play the game on Thursday. It's not a big game, actually I think they will be an easy win. Maggie will need a cast and crutches for a month with the special treatment it would only need a month. Just in time for the biggest game this season.

"I'm calling practice. Nice job ladies. Practice tomorrow same time same place." I yell out.

I go over to the football field to wait for Jacob. When I went the football players were practicing but without shirts! :D

I guess I called practice a little early today because they were still practicing. Which is fine with me.

"Loving the view" I yelled out

Jacob looked over and saw me. He smiled and continued practice.
