Chapter 10

"I'm so sorry Jacob." I tell him.

"It's okay. I didn't get hurt. He punched like a little girl." He tells me.

"Are you sure?" I ask curiously.

"Yes. And I'd do anything for you to be happy, safe, and comfortable." He tells me with a smile.

"I love you. You know that?" I tell him.

"Of course I know that." he says followed by a kiss.

"Do you want to go back to school?" I ask him.

"I don't care. Do you?" he asks me.

"Yeah. I have a test and I have to go to practice I tell him. But we can skip next class. It's boring anyways."

"Okay. Whatever you want to do." He tells me with a satisfied look on his face.

----- Soccer practice -----

"Okay girls. Partner up and pass. For every pass that doesn't make it to your partner we run 1/2 a mile." I tell my team.

"Ughhhh." girls say.

"I could make it worse." I say. With that they all go and start. I watched them and they got a total of 3 miles in 20 minutes. I decided that was a good time to stop.

"Okay ladies. Meet out at the track field in 5 minutes and if anyone is late we add another mile. We have 3 so far." I inform my team which makes them take a quick drink and jog to the track.

"We have 3 miles. If anyone can beat me the first mile we don't have to do the other ones and we get to mess with the football players." I tell them.

When I blow the whistle we all take off running. I'm the fastest, Leslie is second fastest and Cassie is third fastest.

Cassie manages to keep up with me. Leslie is behind, I think we have to condition more.

Right when I was going to step to make it a mile Cassie speeds up and I didn't realize it in time and she beats me.

"Haha. Who's the winner now?!?" Cassie tells me in a playful voice.

"You caught me off guard." I tell her.

"Whatever you say." she says with a big smile.

"What are we going to do to the football players?" Leslie questions.

"We are going to challenge them." I tell my teammates. Who seem a little happy about it.

"What are we going to challenge them exactly?" Maggie asks. Yes she's playing now. Everything healed super fast and we have our best defender now.

"We are going to do the boot camp." I tell my team.

"We can do that in our sleep." A girl called out.

"You didn't let me finish." I said.

"We are doing our boot camp and after that we are doing the football boot camp. Jacob and I talked about it. For the next 2 weeks we will be learning each others boot camps. First week we are going to be teaching the football players our boot camp, we will meet at our boot camp place. You have to bring one football player. Now that I told you that let's get over there and discuss this." With that we all go there as a team, with our heads held high.
