A Summer To Remember H.S.

Chapter 1

Hey! I'm Kendall. I'm 18 and going off to college! I have chocolate brown eyes with dirty blonde hair. I'm about 5'6" or so. I'm nothing like my friends! I'm shy and quiet but I can let loose! I've moved out of my parents house to see what it's like on my own! I live with my two best friends Paige and Taelour.

Paige is 19 just a year older than us! But she's shorter than both of us. She's so adorable! She has eyes that are like the ocean and blonde hair. She might be short but she is so fierce! She will tell you how it is and she doesn't care what you think about it!

Taelour is like me! 18 years old. She has caramel brown eyes and curly brown hair to match. She's my height so we always make fun of how short Paige is. She's so loud and weird. Sometimes I wonder how we even became friends!

Taelour and I are going to Missouri University! I'm going on a volleyball scholarship. It's my absolute passion. Taelour is going on a arts scholarship. Basically acting, dancing, singing. Yeah she's good. But she won't admit it. Like girl you got a scholarship from it! Hush! It's gonna be amazing! We've always wanted to get out of California. Paige is leaving Cali too but instead she's gonna go to Colorado State. She got an amazing offer for a spot on their top soccer team and she just had to take it. It's our last summer together. I'm gonna miss her so much! We've through so much together. I love her!

So we decided that this summer is going to be the best summer on earth. Parties. Clubs. Beaches. Surfing. Ice Cream. Guys. Uh yes! GUYS!! Cali guys are cute. I mean like damn. Who doesn't like them? Crazy people! Sadly some are huge jerks! Like Ben. My ex-boyfriend, he has issues! And he needs Jesus! I'm sorry but what he did was unacceptable. But let's not talk about the bad stuff! Think of the positive. Always think of the positive.

I drove up to my family's beach house. The house we have spent so many summer's in. This will be the very last one. That's really depressing. NO BEING DEPRESSED! God Kendall, keep your cool.

"Let's go girls!" I smiled at them as we jumped out of our cars. Taelour and I both drive Jeep Wranglers, mines black and hers is red. Paige drives a grey convertible... laaame! Haha whatever.

I put the key in and open the door. Ahh it smells like summer! Beautiful sunny summer! How can you smell the sun? Whatever. I threw all my bags on the sofas we have.

As usual the girls gaped at the view of the house. Ugh same old, same old.

I sighed. "You guys have been here millions of times! I don't get why you people don't get use to it!" I questioned them.

"It's like a whole new wonderland each time we come!" Taelour yelled out into the empty halls. Paige and I giggled at how she acted. She started running around the house with her arms out, making an airplane sounds.

Paige shouted at Taelour, "Oh gosh you're such an idiot!" I laughed at them both.

"You're just jealous of how fabulous I am!" Taelour yelled back at her! She came down the stairs and hopped next to us.

"You know what this summer needs?" Tae nudged us. I pushed her off me and wiggled my eyebrows at her. "A summer love! We need one! Someone that we'll find out all about and then when school comes it blows over as something that nothing happened."

"That's genius!" Paige squealed. "A summer fling is what we need! Don't you think Kenny?"

They're crazy! A summer love? A summer fling? Uh yeah, how about no!

"Haha you guys are nuts!" I told them. I started laughing but they weren't laughing with me. Wait they were serious?

"WE'RE FINDING YOU A SUMMER LOVE!" They yelled at the same time.

I'm in trouble.
