Chapter 12

Paige's POV

Kenny's cousins, brother, and old friend came over. We were all sitting around and her cousin Luke was singing. Tae and I we laughing and whispering to each other.

"Do you really think Niall likes me?" I whispered to her. She laughed at me and tried to cover her mouth.

"Obviously Paige! What are you blind?" She said back to me. I thought about it for a bit and then answered.

"Maybe he was just pitying me! You know cause I was crying?" I said to her. She full on laughed at me making everyone look at us. I gave them an awkward smile. They just laughed at us and turned back to whatever they were doing.

"He's not pitying you! If he was he would've dumped your ass a long time ago!" She nudged me. Well good point... Dammit why is she always right?!

I looked over to Niall and saw him singing and smiling. I smiled at how cute he looked. He turned to me and gave me this huge grin. I looked down at the ground and felt a slight crimson blush creep onto my cheeks. Taelour gave me a nudge and walked away to sit next to Ashton. She said something to Niall and looked at me. She gave me a wink and went back to listening to Luke.

Niall started walking over to me. I quickly fixed my hair, checked how I looked, and straightened out my clothes. He sat next to me and just twiddled his thumbs. I cleared my throat and finally choked something out.

"Hey Niall. Um so this is a good song!" I said as Luke started playing Counting Stars by One Republic. He nodded in agreement. Jesus dude say something! "They're a good band. Tons of good songs by them!" I tried ushering a word out of him. He just stayed silent. Ugh!!

"Niall are you going to say something or am I gonna be an idiot and sit here talking to myself?!" I blurted out. OMG IT JUST HAPPENED!! I DIDN'T KNOW! MY MOUTH JUST SAID IT!

"Paige, uhm will you go out with me like on a date with um me?" Niall said to me. I just like blew up inside!

"Of course Niall!" I said with the biggest smile on my face.
