Some may not be happy with the ending I published. I'm hoping that as readers you will appreciate when I update and what I write. There have been many times I wished not to update but because you were waiting, I pushed myself to write for you. I write for pleasure and in hopes that those that read will appreciate my hard work. You don't have to like what I write but at least be respectful of it. As someone that wishes to satisfy their readers, I have written another alternative ending. I hope this will satisfy you.

Recovery was difficult. Your entire body carved with the scars of fire, the scars of loss and the scars of grief.
Your legs were still bandaged, and so you wore jeans in cool weather to hide them - Despite the bandage and jean rubbing, leaving you with small moments of fizzling shock.
The skin was blistering and with each glance at the raw skin did you feel the pits of your stomach wallow in despair; For a man you now knew you loved.
Baekhyun's sister had allowed you into her home after the apartment was swallowed in flames - it was a kitchen accident - you had burnt some food in the oven and it caught fire. She had held you for the first few nights out of hospital, cradling you as you cried for Baekhyun in your sleep. You would awake with clouded eyes and small shushes into your ear as she rubbed your back up and down. She knew that you would never come back from this.
You had visited Red Ribbon Road once more, for the last time in your life. You kneeled before Baekhyun's empty grave and spoke as if he were just over the phone. You could picture him with his hands wrapped on top of the grave's head and peer at you knowingly. He sympathised with you. He knew that although you had murdered him, he had killed you first - beat you down until killing him was all you knew was left to do.
The flowers in your palms were withering and so you planted them among the dirt of his grave - for if no one were to have died there, then something must thrive there.
By nightfall you were asleep in the comforts of your sister-in-law's apartment, she offered a minuscule smile before closing the door with a small 'goodnight'. This was your first night sleeping alone after the incident.
You had awoken from a slumber as deep and dark pulling as death, clamping around your collar and lifting you face to face with a ghost.
The air surrounding you had cooled significantly, but the grip of your significant other was as warm as the flames you had purposefully fuelled.Baekhyun grinned at you - not menacingly but instead playfully. His hair was ruffled as you ran your hands through it and his eyes were smaller by dark crescent moons as he whispered.
"I'll wait for you. You, you, you" he had sang, placing the side of his face to your chest as he listened to your heart beat tenderly under his ear. Or perhaps the lack of it. The moon light had seized his skin and it was lit up like diamonds buried in the rocky dark. His hands were caught around your waist and rubbed at open skin. They were warm and gentle with you, sliding up to meet your ribcage before crawling back down.
His chin had lifted and lips captured yours in a moment so heart wrenchingly sweet. You craved for his lips as he did yours, his hands moving to cup your cheeks as he grinned at you once more.
He was real, so painstakingly real. Or maybe, you were just dead.
