Alex climbed up into the attic, pulled the ladder, shut the trapdoor and locked it up. She was so angry because she wanted to binge season 2 of riverdale with her best friends because their exams just got over. They had to study 3 MONTHS in advance to prepare for their finals. Alex wasn't going for an excelling mark in her finals but she was pretty stressed about the whole thing because this was going to go in her permanent record.
She went back down to get some snacks and then realised her parents weren't home. She was so happy! She quickly grabbed her laptop and while she was running back to her room she tripped and fell on the floor. Thankfully she didn't break her laptop, otherwise she would have been doomed. She tripped on a lever. She thought of this to be strange because usually the lever to her room is on the other side of the room. She looked over to the other side and still saw her lever and thought to herself what the lever she tripped on was for??
She was very curious, so she kept her laptop down on table in the side and went to the lever and pulled it. Unlike Alex's lever, a ladder didn't pop out for her to climb in, this lever was different. When she pulled it a trap door opened and fleets of stair just kept rolling out. Not exactly rolling but it was like a machine moving it down on its own.
