The "Family" secret

5 - The plan

Alex was feeling fishy about her mom not wanting to jump to conclusions that her mom might have actually kept a secret from her that her mom has 2 siblings...,

Alex walked downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a dirty plate and started to wash it.

Her plan was:
1) to get on her mom's good side.
2) butter her mom up.
3) talk about being an only child so her mom will comfort her.
4) casually bring up NOT the truth but...., that she had a vision in her sleep that she saw a family of 5, 2 of them looked like her grandparents and 1 of them looked like her mom..,
5) ask her mom the truth.

So her plan was ready............,

Her mom entered the house and was impressed at Alex. Her mom said, "Wow! Did Alex make a robot that looks exactly like her and function it to be useful?? Or am I just imagining things??"

"Ha! Ha! Very funny mom.., I thought since I did something bad, I'll make up for it since I actually really regret it!!"
( psh! No she doesn't regret it!)

"You know you're still not getting Netflix back for like a month right??"

"Yeah, figured..,"

"You're still grounded you know! Why aren't you up in your room?"

"I thought I would make up for it!!"

"As long as your helping with chores you can be out of your room"

"Jee, thanks! (sarcasticly) I was wondering how long I'd have to be shunned!!"

(OK, I'm not gonna keep calling Alex's mom..., *Alex's mom* , so I'm gonna call her by her name, Karen!!!!!)

Karen went and sat down the sofa and Alex came and sat next to her. She started saying that she was the best mom in the world and that she deserves every punishment that she's gotten...

Her mom knew she wanted something....,
