After about a week with Jeffrey, he seemed happy and looked so much better than the first day I found him.
My roommate was at work so I didn't need to worry about him being in my way of doing house hold chores.
'Bzzzz bzzzz' my phone was ringing, 'bzzzz bzzzz' I answered it, "Hello?" It was Dr Pyke calling about Jeffrey's blood work. "Ah yes I have some odd news for you, about your alpaca." He started. I was a little confused but I let him continue, "I've never seen anything like it! His blood is really odd and not normal, yet he seems to be fine. I let some of my other professional staff members take a look too and they say it's very unusual as well." He added and it alarm me. "So is this a bad thing for him or something?" I asked trying not to freak out, Jeffrey was nowhere to be found. Dr Pyke didn't answer my question specially but continued on how Jeffrey's blood type was odd and unusual. I tried to understand what all he was talking about, but some of the things where way of my league of comprehension. That's one good thing about Dr Pyke is that he can help explain vet things in more simple terms than some other people can. I recall him working in some other vet clinic when I had a cat. He always loved whatever animal came through his door no mater how strange and would neverk turn a client down.
After we got done talking and hung up, I looked for Jeffrey and let my mind wonder. "Is Jeffrey's fur naturally pink? And why dose he seem to understand everything I say? Why was he abandoned at that dumpster?" I wondered out loud. I found Jeffrey under the kitchen table looking sad. I picked him up and felt sad that he was sad. I sat on the couch abandoning my chores and sat Jeffrey next to me. He put one of his hooves on me and looked at me in a way as if he wanted to tell me something but couldn't find the words to say it. I looked at him kinda confused, maybe even a little scared. I haven't seen him or any other animal look so sincere before. "You okay buddy?" I asked even though he can't answer me. He jumped off the couch and looked at me. "Dose he want me to follow him?" I thought silently to myself and stood up. I was more confused than normal. Jeffrey spun in a circle jumping up and down then ran to the front door. "You wanna go for a walk?" I asked Jeffrey and he started jumping up and down again. I grabbed the leash and attached it to his collar. We walked for a little bit until I realized where we where. Jeffrey brought me back to the same alleyway I found him in. Those thoughts and feeling of Jeffrey being abandoned rushed back to my head. I felt furious at whoever left him here, yet there was a little guilt that suddenly brushed the surface of my mind. "Maybe the people left Jeffrey for a reason? I mean he looks highly unusual and maybe what if he killed his owners or something?!" My mind began to wander but I stopped myself, "No, Jeffrey's so sweet and he gives me and Braun no trouble at all, why would I think of things so stupid?" I pondered. By the time I snapped back to reality, Jeffrey was already leading me away and we walked back home. Jeffrey seemed really happy again which made me feel a lot better just to see him being so cheerful and bubbly again. He seemed really excited about something and stood up on his hind legs. I looked at him and he held something out in his hoof. He held a unique looking pendant/stone necklace, it suddenly started glowing and I took a step back. The stone glowed a pinkish color and pink embers seemed to float around him; they got so bright suddenly it blinded me like a flash bang just went off but without the bang. Once my eyes adjust and the pink blinking embers went away I couldn't believe what stood before me. "Jeffrey turned into a human!?" I was in awe, my mind couldn't even comprehend what just happened. His hair was pink and fluffy, he had a pink turtleneck sweater and some pink earrings. His brown eyes remained the same with that happy soft gaze to them. Luckily I was in front of the couch because I fell over from shock. Jeffrey sat next to me and awaited me to say something. "I- wa-.... huh?!" Was all my brain would make my mouth say. He opened his mouth like he was going to say something but then he thought and closed it again, looking a little frustrated. "C-can you speak?" I eventually asked still dumbfounded. He shook his head no and put the necklace on. "Do I have to teach him English or something?" I thought to myself and then asked, "Is there a simpler way for you to learn English?" He thought for a moment and then shook his head yes. I asked what it is which was kinda stupid because he couldn't tell me. He stood up and ran into a room and came back with his dog bed thing I bought him, it had his name on it. I tilted my head still confused. He traced the letters that spelled his name. "Your name?" I asked starting to get a slight headache with all this thinking. He shook his hand in a way of saying kinda. Jeffrey walked off to the kitchen and I followed. He grabbed a piece of paper and some kind of writing utensil. "OH! You want to write your name?" I asked and he nodded his head, happy I finally got what he meant. I helped him spell his name, he surprisingly had really pretty handwriting. He crumbles the paper into a small sphere and held it to the necklace. It glowed pink again but more dim this time; it absorbed the paper with Jeffrey's name on it. "Thank... you?" Jeffery said careful to make sure he said it right. I gasped and clapped my hands together like an exited child at Christmas, his voice was just so nice and sweet I couldn't help but to freak out a little. Jeffrey smiled happily because I was excited. "OMG YOU'RE SO PRECIOUS" I was freaking out in my head.

More tomorrow I promise
