The next morning I headed out earlier so I could run around a bit before going to the coffee shop.

I headed down the street and continued for a while then I reached the familiar labyrinth of apartment complexes. I saw something white streak across one of the three ways. Anxiety started to well up in me. I wasn't alone. I saw it again but now it was running towards me. I screamed with a squeak and held my hands up as in a defensive way, but nothing came to impact. I looked up and saw a, even smaller than Jeffrey, white-ish alpaca sitting before my feet looking up at me with a stone in it's mouth. Another alpaca like Jeffrey? It continued to look up at me, kinda filthy needing a bath. I calmed down looking at the little thing. "Aww your adorable!" I squeaked completely forgetting my fear. The little white alpaca put his hoof on my leg. "You wanna come home and meet Jeffrey?" I asked and he started running in a circle. With that I picked him up and ran home as fast as I could.

I slammed the door open still holding the white alpaca and yelled, "JEFFREY LOOK WHAT I FOUND!! ISN'T HE CUTE!?" Jeffery stood in the kitchen looking terrified, I couldn't tell if it was from kicking the door open or that I brought another alpaca home. Turns out the little alpaca turned into a human while I wasn't paying attention. He looked like a proper boy or liked one of the original founding fathers. BINGO! I HAVE THE PERFECT NAME! THOMAS JEFFERSON!!

"I shall call him Thomas Jefferson!" I announced and T.Jeff clapped happy by his new name.
Jeffrey still had no idea how to respond. I handed Thomas to Jeffrey and asked, "Can you make sure he gets cleaned up?! I have to run off!" Jeffery looked like he was about to say something but just sat Thomas down, which Thomas just sat on the floor and Jeffrey nodded, "I'll see to it" he responded quietly. "K THANKS BYE!" I yell while running out the door as Jeffrey waved looking down at Thomas.

--at home with Jeffrey--

Jeffrey looking down at Thomas Jefferson and was really confused. "Um.. why are you here?" Jeffrey asked, "and where's your quarts stone?!" With that Thomas pulled his stone out from under his white scarf that was probably fashionable back in the 1800s.
Jeffrey sighed and told Thomas to stand up and brought him over to the kitchen and got paper and a pen. Thomas wrote his name down and crumbled it up. His stone had some small white sparks and one of them hit the crumbled paper then it got absorbed. Thomas spoke to answer Jeffrey's first question, "I was here to retrieve you and or help complete the mission which seems your trying to complete. 928 says you CANNOT fail this mission or you're going on trial and could be put in jeopardy, and you know what happened to 37 when they went through that. Let's get your mission done, leave this place, report back, and get done so you don't have that same fate. Remember this is your last strike," Thomas sounded strict for his friend Jeffrey. A white portal suddenly opened and there where a few sparks that kept jumping around the portal. Jeffrey grabbed Thomas by they arm. "No you can't leave! If you suddenly disappear what would Bruce say?! And you know our motto, If someone helps us out with no reasoning or unknowing you still owe them something!" Jeffrey remarked. Thomas sighed and closed the portal, "Did you tell him your mission?" Jeffrey squeaked, "Of corse not! I wouldn't be here if I did!" Thomas groaned, "Okay then I'll stay, mostly to complete this nonsense, but we have to tell this human eventually, we can't leave him in the dark." With that Jeffrey had tears in his eyes when being told but nodded sadly, "O-okay.."
