It's been two months since we are here, it's funny, college, I can see that hazel is really stressed out I don't know why, I tried to convince her to go to a party with me but she didn't want to, saying that she was too buisy, with a lot of the other courses that she took.
In fact I always envied her, not in a jealous way, I thought she was braver, with what she's been through she always had good grades. When I came home from my walk, she was still studiying, of course, she didn't even noticed me. Her deep green eyes was focused on a paper, and two books, her hair were as black as a feather crow, they are pretty long, one day by accident I cut a big piece of her hair, since that day, she always let her hair grow, just in case, I guess. Since recently she has been wearing glasses, big brown glasses, which made her look more like a miss know it all, more than usual. Behind the glasses, crossing her right eye, there was a scar, from her eyebrow to the bottom of her eye, that day she was so scared, there was so much blood, when she went to the hospital she lied about what happened, she said that she was running and hit herself on the table but it wasn't the truth. Her father did that, she told me the story after weeks being to afraid to tell me.
"You're studying?" I asked
"Yeah, we have a paper for tomorrow, remember?"
"Yes, of course, I did it" I was totally lying, I forgot about this stupid homework
"Well, I don't believe you so go working" she said still staring at her desk
I sighed with exasperation, I didn't like to work, I don't even know how I got accepted to this school, my grades were fine but not as great as hazel's, she really loved to work, genuenely.
"Some people invted me to a party tomorrow you wanna come?" she looked at me and her expression said it all
"You go, I'm gonna stay here"
"Come on, it'll be fun, you never went to a party"
"Hence my point, I never went to a party and college parties are weird, everyone hook up with everyone, they drink, they do drugs"
"You watch too much movies" I smiled even though I knew she was kind of right.
"You know it's the truth, those parties are not for me"
At least I tried to convince her but she's stubborn.
It was seven pm, hazel decided to go to the library again and I went home to get ready for the party, I wear a yellow dress with tights, and let my hair down, I decided to do a full make up, I put my boots on, it was eight pm, the house where they were throwing the party was in a sorority house on campus, I walked at least five minutes. They were not a lot of people maybe because it was too early, some people were outside and we could here the music.
