NO SANCTUARY
(PART THREE)

The plan went terribly wrong all in one second. The group were preparing to attack them, but as if they knew what was about to go down, tear gas came rolling into the car.

Karen quickly held her nose and held her breath but it didn't work. She quickly passed out like everyone else.

When Karen woke back up, she was leaned over a metal pan, gagged, and her hands tied back. She looked to her sides, to her right was Rick, Daryl, Bob, and Glenn, and to her left were 4 innocent men.

She saw a guy sharpening a knife and began to whimper when he chopped a dead pig. Tears streamed down her face as she began to watch what him and another guy did.

She looked at the youngest guy, no older than 16, whimpering and crying. He was then knocked out by a bat and the man slit his throat.

Karen began to scream but it only came out as muffles. She didn't want to die today, she wasn't ready. They killed the next 2 and it was now the next guy's turn.

Karen couldn't watch. It was horrible. She heard the bang from the bat and a slice from the knife and now she wanted to really scream. She was next. She was next to die.

Just as the guy went to hit Karen with the bat, Rick got him free and tackled him down. The man with the knife tried to stab Rick but Karen's leg flew out and he tripped while stabbing himself in the chest.

"Thanks."

He went up to her and cut off her restraints. Karen then took the scraf from around her mouth and smiled weakly.

"Thank you for saving my life." Rick nodded before he began cutting off everyone's restraints.

"Let's move!" He said as explosions went off; causing the building to shake.

"Come on!" Everyone rushed out of there; Karen looked around for Carl or anybody else.

"Carl? Maggie? Sasha?" Jane looked around at the now burning Terminus. She couldn't find anyone.

"Karen! I found them! Let's go!" Rick shouted as he grabbed her forearm and ran with her to the fences, helping her climb the fence.

"Karen!" Carl ran towards her and scooped her off her feet. Karen cried softly into his shoulder, being grateful that she made out of there alive. She was so close to death that she was really scared. But now that Carl is with her, she wasn't scared anymore.

"You okay?" Karen nodded before they both pulled away. Carl lifted her chin, causing her to look at him deep in the eye.

"I was so scared, Carl. I-I was afraid of death." She admitted before looking away, tears streaming down her eyes. Carl brought his thumbs up to her cheeks and wiped the tears off, caressing them softly.

"I know you were, babe. But I'm here. I'm right here. You don't have to be afraid anymore." Karen nodded before they shared a long kiss. They then heard a throat clear and pulled away; seeing everyone was looking at them.

"Young love. Never gets old." The woman, Tara, said with a smirk on her face. Karen hid her red face into Carl's chest while Carl just chuckled softly.

"So what's the plan now, Rick?" Carol asked as Rick looked down.

"We kill them."

"Rick. Walkers are already down there. We can't waste ammo on walkers and people. Let the walkers be and let us get a move on. It's just a waste of time going back." Karen explained before she walked off into the woods.

"She's right you know." Rick looked over at Michonne and nodded softly before everyone began to walk into the woods.

Tyreese heard rustling and walked out of the cabin, seeing Karen emerge from the trees.

"Ty!" Karen jumped into Tyreese's arms and hugged him tightly. Tyreese had grown to be like a older brother to Karen and seeing him alive reminds her that there is still family and they don't have to be blood related.

"Tyreese!" Karen pulled away and saw Sasha run towards him and hug him. Karen watched everyone greeting each other and smiled.

This is how it's suppose to be. Everyone's happy that they found one another. Everyone just enjoying each other's company.

And Rick knew, too. He noticed Karen smiling at everyone and nodded to her; a sign that's saying he feels the same way.

They're on the tracks again. They began to head north away from Terminus. Just as everyone appeared onto the tracks, Karen found a spray can and went up to one of the Terminus signs.

Rick saw this and watched as she sprayed most of the quote and sprayed a no on top of sanctuary.

That's when he read it out and saw:
