Karen slowly began to come to, her eyes stringing, her body screaming in pure pain. She groaned while holding her head; it's pounding making tears erupt from her eyes. She begged her body to sit up, but when she tried, all she got was sharp pain going through her.
"Karen! Lay back! Ya gonna worsen' ya pain!" She heard as she looked over to the source of the voice. She wanted to leap out of the bed and hug them, but she couldn't.
Standing before her was Beth Greene, Hershel's youngest daughter. The man who died trying to protect his family. Beth smiled; noticing how excited Karen looked.
"You're alive?! But Daryl said you got kidnapped. How did you get here?"
"If I tell you, you have to promise not to freak out." Beth said as Karen nodded.
"Okay. We back in Atlanta. The city. We in a hospital called Grady Memorial. I got here by one of them cars with a cross on the windshield. They brought me here because they were running low on patients and needed more people. But this place, it ain't safe. They have walkers in the elevator shaft, and the officers here. They hurt the patients. The person in charge, Dawn, she say that she gonna do something about it, but I ain't seen nothin' yet." Beth finished as Karen glared at nothing in particular.
"Well, whoever these officers are, I like to see them try and hurt me. See what happens." Karen stated as Beth shook her head.
"No, you don't get it. They will kill you. One of the officers, I think his name Harrison, he beat an old man to death because he coughed blood on his shoes. Dawn saw it and did nothin'. It's not safe and I'm going to get us and Carol out of here."
"Wait, Carol's here, too?" Beth nodded before Karen sighed.
"Hey, go ahead back to sleep. I'll wake you up for breakfast in a couple hours." Beth said as Karen nodded and slowly closed her eyes.

"What do you mean Karen's missing?" Carl exclaimed as Rick placed his hands on his son's shoulder.
"Carl, you need to calm down."
"Calm down? You want me to calm down?! AFTER I FOUND OUT MY GIRLFRIEND IS MISSING!?! YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN?!" Carl shouted to his father before he breathed heavily, his face red as a tomato.
"I'm going with you, Daryl and Noah tomorrow to that hospital and get my girlfriend back. Along with Carol and Beth." Carl said calmly before he walked away from his father, not wanting to shed tears. But it was hard to.
