━ HIS MINDS ( Thor Odinson )

First part of the "His Mind" Series.

You were a telepath yourself, you would just invade someone's mind and just know what are they thinking and look through their memories. And it was His Mind.

You were a new addition to the team. You were just those shy ones, but you got used to them. You were interested in Thor, since he looks so familiar to you but you can't point a finger to it.

You ran your fingers through your almost-dry-damp hair as you sat on the couch, leaning on the armchair. Nat sat beside you as she started a conversation. "Y/N?" Nat asked. You hummed. "You've been acting evasive around Thor lately, you're his best friend, then you got so spacious around him." Nat said. You sighed. "Nat, I don't know what are you talking about." You said. "You've been avoiding Thor and he's starting to get worried about you." She said. "Nat, I'm sorry, but it's my choice to make. I'm not feeling very well lately." You said as you played with your hair.

"Lady Y/N? Are you here?" Thor's voice boomed through the halls then to the living room. "Nat, tell him I'm not here." You hid behind another couch. "Oh, Natasha, have you seen Lady Y/N?" You gestured her not to. "Oh, she's just behind that couch." Nat smirked as she pointed at you. "You betrayed me." You mouthed to her. You slowly stood up on your place. "Hey, Thor." You waved him awkwardly as you shifted on your feet uncomfortably. "You had me worried." Thor engulfed you into a huge hug. You groaned a bit from how he was almost popping you to a pulp. "Thor, you're crushing me." You mumbled. "Oh, sorry." He said as he pulled away. "I'll leave you two here." Nat said as she exited the tower.

The atmosphere between you was awkward and a bit comforting.

Thor cleared his throat. "Lady Y/N, why'd you start avoiding me?" He asked, taking a step closer. But you back up a bit. "I'm not feeling well lately." You lied. "Please don't lie to me." He sighed. You looked at his eyes and saw worry in them. "Look Thor, I can't talk right now, my powers are just making me suffer." You said as you walked past him. Thor just stood there, collecting himself and trying to make out what you just said.

He sighed.

As night falls, the whole team was in the kitchen for pizza night. "Hey guys, have you seen Y/N? She loves pizza night." Tony asked. Thor hadn't touched his food, which is now cold. His arms were folded as he thought of the possible ways to help you as he leaned against the island. "She's in her room, taking a rest." Wanda answered Tony's question. "Strange." Tony shrugged as he shoved in a half eaten pizza. "You called?" Stephen summoned a portal, popping his head in. Tony jumped on Steve's arms, yelling like a little girl. "Tony, you can get down now." Steve scoffed. "No, Strange. Here, have a pizza." Tony said an gave Stephen a pizza before he left, saying thank you.

"Thor, do you have something to do with Y/N? That's why she can't eat?" Nat asked him as she stood beside him. Thor shook his head. "No, I would never. I love Y/N as a friend, why would I hurt her?" Thor exclaimed. "Sorry, I'm just making sure." She said as she walked back to the counter where the pizza is placed.

Thor exited the room. "Thor, where are you going?" Bruce asked. "I'm going to check on lady Y/N." He said as he continues his walk.

As he arrived on your door, he brought his hand to knock, but decided not to disturb you. He just let himself in.

You were tucked in your bed comfortably as you slept through nirvana.

Thor mesmerized your beauty when you're asleep. He smiled at your sight. He knelt on one knee as he caressed your cheek with his thumb. He then held your hand.

Then he was transported to a pitch black place. You were still with him, sleeping in your bed. Thor and you were in both of your minds. You were using your powers while you were asleep.

Thor looked around silently. He knew about your powers but he never interfered with it.

A smoked traveled down through Thor and under your bed, then the smoke formed Asgard. Then it formed a young girl that is a part of the Valkyrie. And then a female voice started, it wasn't you.

"In the land called Asgard, there lived a beautiful young girl, she was the strongest of all Valkyrie, the bravest and clean hearted girl. She had bid her promise to protect Asgard with her own strength and heart. She fell in love with the king's son. Thor Odinson, the God of lightning and son of Odin.

And after years and years had passed, she became head of the Valkyrie and lead them to victory. She had a special sign behind her back, showing that she is trustworthy, loyal and can't never turn away from a fight. The Valkyrie fought against the Goddess of Death, Hela. She tried to destroy her once and for all, which caused her to fall. But Zeus send her down from earth, giving her a second chance to live.

Her partner became vulnerable and tried to forget about her. She didn't even bid goodbye. And after years and years had passed, he never mentioned her in his life...ever again..."

"And she then started to live a normal life, not until she was kidnapped. They had destroyed her soul, her clean heart and her strength. They tortured her like flames of hell burning down to eternity. Then they decided to reset her memories and made her one of them. She decline every saying they did, but they had forced her. She became a demon; destroying innocent lives and burn down cities that was peaceful. She was the god above them all. They thought that she was the daughter of Ares, she had his strength, his cold heart, and his non merciful being.

They praised her like their queen and their god. She then woke up to reality, realizing her doing. She ran away from her fears and pain...and never came back."

She formed the girl, and it was you running away.

You sat up. "It's you." Thor started. "That's why you look familiar to me. You were her." Thor muttered as he squeezed your hand a bit. "I...My memories were erased that time...and...I'm sorry." You sighed. Thor lifted your chin with his thumb and index finger. "You never changed when I first met you." He chuckled a smile. You smiled.

"You just cut your hair and you lost an eye." You smiled.

"C'mon, you're missing out pizza Friday." Thor stood up. You followed him. He took out a hand for you and you took it delicately and walked out to the kitchen.

As both of you entered, hand in hand, the Avengers' smile grew wider. "Hey guys." You waved at them as you wrapped your arms around his. "What happened when we were just eating here?" Steve asked as he muster a smirk. "Well...we turned out to have a chemistry from our past." You started. "Wait, you met him here?" Tony exclaimed. "No, back in Asgard. She was a part of the Valkyrie in such a young age." Thor said, pulling you closer to him.
