Haizaki Ryouhei x reader

Hello again! HURRAY FOR QUICK UPDATES! Believe me, i don't usually update this fast so please don't get used to it. Anyways, i personally kinda find this fella cool, haven't seen much of him yet. Bit of a dick to Kidou, which i ain't gonna tolerate. Enjoy!

The cheers of the crowds could still be heard as you stood in the halls of the stadium leaning against the wall, with your arms folded waiting to congratulate Seishu Academy on their win. It had become a ritual that (F/N) (L/N) would come to cheer the team in their matches and wait for them whilst lurking in the hallways of the stadium to congratulate the team. All the team had taken you under their wing and you had taken a liking to them. Eventually. 

"Oi. (L/N)." Haizaki called out your name. You saw the team standing there, the boys filled with joy and smiles plastered on their faces. "We have a new team member." He continued, you looked around but all you could see were the familiar faces, no new faces. You pointed it out to Haizaki  who just gave you a blank stare and stepped to the side. Finally, a young man with dreadlocks tied in a ponytail and dark shades goggles(does that make sense? idk, but you guys know what i mean.) was standing there with his arms folded. You skipped towards him and stopped.

"Hey there! I'm (F/N) (L/N). It's a pleasure to meet you. These guys are like brothers to me. Let's get along." You said to him as you extended your hand to him. He took it and shook it.

"The pleasure is mine, (L/N)-san. I am Kidou Yuuto. I've heard fantastic things about you from the team." Hes said as he took your hand and gave it a peck. You couldn't help but to blush at the action while all the boys in the team stood there awkwardly. Haizaki let out a grunt as he grabbed your wrist and pulled it away and shot Kidou a menacing look. You shrugged it off and started to walk along with the team right behind you with Haizaki and Kidou bringing up the rear. 

Like tradition followed, after every match you were headed towards your favourite restaurant to celebrate victory. From the corner of your eye, you could see that Kidou and Haizaki were having  a very serious conversation, more like Haizaki giving Kidou a pep talk. A couple of times, you had them caught staring at you and when you had turned that way, they would just turn around. You had made a self-note to sit closer to the pair next time. Finally, it was time for everyone to head home and most of the team went one way, usually you walked home alone or sometimes Haizaki dropped you off home. As the captain of the team, he felt a need of responsibility over everyone's safety, including yours. 

"What a day, huh?" You asked him after a long silence. He just shrugged and continued walking. 'wow, Haizaki. Thanks for contributing to the conversation.' You thought as you sent him a glare. Suddenly Haizaki pushed you against the wall, it wasn't too hard but it hurt your head a little bit. You looked at him scared but he seemed to have a gentle expression on his face.

"(F/N)... Stay away from Kidou... He's dangerous. You're going to get hurt. Promise me, you'll keep your distance." He said as he tightened his grip on your shoulders. You rested your hand on his hand and smiled.

"Don't worry, Ryou. If it's going to put your mind at rest, i promise i won't get close to Kidou. Happy?" He looked at you and then let go.

"Sorry about that, (F/N). I just... just... don't want you to lose to him." He said as he rested his head on your shoulder. You were still trying to process the information into your brain. THE HAIZAKI RYOUHEI had a crush on YOU. He hugged you tightly and you hugged back.

"Sorry for worrying you, Haizaki. I didn't know i was that important to you." You said as a smirk crossed your face for a few seconds. Haizaki took your hands in his and looked at you with that soft expression again.

"(F/N) (L/N) would you like to become my girlfriend? I will try my hardest to make you happy." You couldn't resist that sweet proposal so, instead of saying yes you jumped towards him and kissed him on his lips as a response, which he gladly accepted as he embraced you.

Ever since that day, you two became the cutest couple of Seishou Academy and everyone was jealous of your relationship, especially a certain guy.
