Kazemaru Ichirouta x reader

You entered the room where all the team was gathered. No one was expecting you as no one was aware of your presence but you still were quite nervous. As you stepped into the room, all eyes turned towards you. You almost tripped on your foot but continued to walk straight towards your destination, Kageyama Reiji had been the one to pay you a special visit to your own house and asked you to be part of his elite team. You tried not to look at anyone but you couldn't help to notice from the corner of your eye some of the boys gaping and their mouths wide open as they observed you. You finally reached the end of the room and turned towards Sakuma. You extended your hand. 

"My name is (F/N) (L/N). From this moment on, I will be the manager of Teikoku. It is a pleasure to meet you, captain." You spoke in a monotone voice a he shook your hand. Kageyama had told you about each team member individually and what their strengths and weaknesses were, as a manager you were in charge to bring out the best in each player. A slight blush appeared on Sakuma, it was the first time someone had addressed to him as 'captain.' Nevertheless, a GIRL. You looked around and noticed that there weren't any other girls in the room, which made you even more nervous. Your mother used to always say that "men become wolves" if there's a girl around. Still, you took a seat next to Sakuma and listened to what Kageyama Reiji had to say.

"I have made a few changes to our team, apart from adding a lady manager that will keepyou in your place," Kageyam spoke as he looked directly at you, "I have also decided to add another member to the team." Just as Kageyama stopped speaking, the door opened and... KAZEMARU ICHIROUTA entered. Kazemaru wasn't just your neighbour, he was your childhood friend, it had been ages since you two had spoken. He shot you a glance but continued to explain to their new tactics.

TIME SKIP~

*beep beep beeep* You blew the whistle which signalled the end of practice. You handed every player a towel and a water bottle and congratulated them on their effort. You had just thrown a water bottle to Fudou and told him that he had done great. He mumbled a thanks and walked off. Finally, there was only one left, dear Kaze. You awkwardly walked towards him and tapped him on the shoulder, he was talking to Sakuma about how to improve his dribble. He turned around and blurted out a rather annoyed, "what?" You looked down at the water bottle and towel and shoved it onto him. 

"Stay hydrated, ass hole." You said as you walked away angry. Ever since he had joined the team, Kazemaru had been acting rather cold towards you and trying his best to avoid you. You had tried to engage with him in a conversation during several times but he would just cut you off and tell you that he's busy or would not respond. You tried to think  whether you had done anything wrong but nothing came to your mind. Your eyes started to sting and tears started to stream, you rushed out of the field to somewhere, anywhere that Kazemaru wasn't at. 

As (F/N) ran off with tears in her eyes, the team looked annoyed at Kazemaru, who didn't seem to have noticed or have any care in the world. However, no one seemed to be brave enough to say anything. Finally, you could hear Fudou pushing his way through his team trying to get to where Kazemaru and Sakuma were at.

"Oi, what was all that about? Can't you just be nice to her like the rest of us?" Shouted Fudou, his voice echoed in the field. Kazemaru didn't respond. Fudou seemed to be getting more annoyed every second. Sakuma finally thought it was time to step in before things got ugly.

"Kazemaru, (F/N) is a very important member of this team and everyone here needs to show her the respect she deserves. She does so many things for use and asks nothing from us. The least you can do it treat her nicely. Now, go look for her and apologise." Sakuma looked at Kazemaru with a serious expression. Kazemaru threw his towel on the floor.

"If you all care so much for her, you go console her." He said looking directly at Fudou. Fudou was ready to throw a punch at him but Sakuma quickly extended his arm before him and shot him a glare that said 'control yourself. You're better than this.'

"It is my duty as a captain to make sure my team mates are all well and healthy and in this moment one of our important members seems quite upset. Kazemaru, i am not asking you, I am telling you to go and find (F/N) or else I myself, will make sure that you never step a foot on this field." Sakuma ended his speech. Everyone looked at Sakuma in awe, this was the first time Sakuma had spoken like this and out of all people to Kazemaru. Kazemaru looked at his captain for a few seconds and started to walk away. Where to? Who knew.

You had decided to not wander off too far, Teikoku's campus was too big for a small girl like you. So you ended up locking yourself in the locker room that was used by other teams when they came to Teikoku to play a friendly game. You sat down on the floor with your knees against your chest and started to whimper again. After a while, you heard a knocking on the door and a voice calling out your name.

"(F/N)-chan open up it's me Kazemaru." Spoke a soft voice. You looked at the door for a few seconds and shook your head. 

"Go away, I don't want to see you." You spoke back. You heard a sigh from the other side of the door. Few moments later, the door was kicked open. Good news was that Kaze was in the room, bad news was that the door was broken and was on the floor. You quickly hid your face in between your knees and your chest. Your eyes were all puffy due to your sobbing and the last person you wanted to see you like that was Kazemaru. He came and sat next to you and put his head on your shoulder.

"Hey..." He whispered in your ear after a long silence. "I'm sorry for acting like a jerk. I just wanted for Teikoku to win so badly that I forgot the most important thing." You lifted up your head and looked at him.

"And what's that?" You asked. He smiled at you, which made your heart melt. You could barely remember the last time you had seen Kazemaru smile like that. 

"Close your eyes and I'll tell you." He said sitting up straight. You obeyed and closed your eyes. You felt something warm touch your lips and suddenly knew what it was. "To spend time with you and to make you happy because that's all that matters to me." You smiled at him and tackled him into a hug. 

" I missed you, Kaze." You said ruffling his soft hair. Suddenly you heard a gasp, both of you turned looked that way and saw all your team standing there with a grin on their faces.

"Everything solved?" Skuma asked you as he helped you get up from the floor. You smiled and gave him a nod. He returned the smile and turned towards Kazemaru. "Treat her well or else, you'll have the whole of our team to deal with, especially Fudou." You all burst out laughing as Fudou's face turned red.

BONUS:

Sakuma: (F/N)... about the broken door...

(F/N): Leave that to me, i'll take care of that! *leaves and goes somewhere*

Fudou: She's going to go tell Kageyama and he won't say anything. He loves her.

Sakuma: And you don't? *chuckles*

Fudou: shut up...
