Make way for the baddest boi in town, y'all. *gets run over by car being driven by Kira Hiroto whilst he screams 'beep beep motherfucker'* FINALS ARE OVER I'M SO HYPED BUT MY WIFI IS SHIT AND IT WON'T GET FIXED TILL NEXT WEEK SO THIS WEEK I MAY NOT UPDATE. ANYWAYS ENJOY THE ONE-SHOT.

"Join my team."

"No."

"Why not?" Asked Kira as he popped a piece of gum in his mouth and started to chew on it loudly. You pointed at him.

"I don't know Hiroto... Hmm lemme think about it...Oh! Maybe cuz you've got no manners and treat the team like crap. Plus, Tatsuya's the team captain, if he doesn't want to ask me to join the team then i'm not wanted." You went back to reading your book as Hiroto stood there sulking.

"Join-"

"GET OUT!" You screamed as you threw the book at him. 

"What happened to you, (F/N)? You used to be fun." He said bitterly and walked away. You rolled your eyes as you thought to yourself 'you should be asking that question to yourself.'

Finally some peace. Being part of the football team would be a dream come true, football meant the world to you and Kira. Ever since Kira and you had moved back from abroad to Japan, things had changed...

~FLASHBACK~

"Welcome home, Kira!" Greeted Hiroto's father as he hugged his son and started weeping on his shoulder, you couldn't help but giggle at the cute encounter. Hiroto often said how it had been years since he had seen his father and how he sometimes missed him when you two lived abroad.

"This is (F/N) (L/N). She's also an orphan and most importantly my girlfriend.-" Hiroto explained to everyone.

"Don't push it Hiroto, there's a space between the words girl and friend, it's called the 'friend zone'. That's where you stand." You smirked at him while crossing your arms. From the back, you heard Midorikawa scream 'shots fired.' Everyone burst out laughing as you two were welcomed into the orphanage. 

Once you found out that you weren't the only one who had a passion for football, there was no stopping you. Every day, everyone would gather round after dinner and would play in their assigned team... except one. As your love for football bloomed, it seemed that Kira's love for football was decreasing. He had also started to become more and more distant and preferred his own company. You brushed it off and thought he was probably getting used to the new environment. 

Then, one day your 'father' announced that your orphanage had been classified for the Football Frontier, you couldn't be happier. You rushed to tell your best friend but he didn't seem much amused by the news as much as you were. 

"You're just trying to keep a cool attitude but we both know that you're screaming internally and when I leave, you're going to start to jump up and down in joy." You told him pinching his cheek. He looked at you for a few seconds.

"Do you know whose on the team?" He finally asked you. It was true, you didn't even know if you were on the team. You quickly ran to check the list that your 'father' had put to see if your name was there. It wasn't. However, Kira's name was there. You smiled at the ground, even if you didn't make it you were happy for your best friend. 

From that day on, you decided not to bother Hiroto or anyone else on the team and to just mind your own business. No one seemed to understand why (F/N) had not been picked for the team, everyone knew how skilled she was, especially Hiroto. He would never admit it but he missed (F/N). He tried to discuss this matter with his father but his father didn't want to talk about it.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

You were about to flick the page of your book when the door burst open again. You sighed as you looked up to find Kiyama Tatsuya ( highkey hate this new name, i miss calling him Hiroto ;-;) standing in front of you wearing his football kit. You smiled at him and saw that Midorikawa was standing behind him. You waved at them to which they waved back.

"Join our team." Requested Tatsuya as he said this, Hiroto leaned against the door with his arms folded. You frowned at Tatsuya's request and asked him why he wanted you to join. Before he could speak, Midorikawa started to enthusiastically explain.

"Well you see (F/N)-san, our team isn't doing so well without you and..." Midorikawa lowered his voice to a whisper, "Between you and me, Hiroto is pretty scary and he doesn't listen to anyone, not even Tatsuya. Crazy, right? I mean how can he not listen to Tatsuya?" Both of you looked at Hiroto who had his eyes closed and was chewing gum.

"Anyways, Hiroto decided to nag father and turns out he eventually got the word out of father that he was testing us to see how we did without you. So, you have his approval. Now will you join the team?" Pleaded Tatsuya. You couldn't help it, Tatsuya and Midorikawa were like little brothers to you, but you secretly shipped them. You gave him a nod and high fived both of them and then they left to go tell everyone else on the team. Before they were about to leave, Midorikawa was about to high five him but Hiroto skilfully dodged it and said "Don't touch me."

"Hey are you planning to just stand there?" You asked Kira as he remained in his spot. He looked at you and gave you a SMILE. It had been months since you had seen Hiroto smile sincerely. He came and sat next to you, looking above your shoulder what you were reading but you didn't mind. "Oh, and regarding the 'friend zone' Kira, you're out of it." You casually told him as you put the book down. He looked at you for a few seconds and then pounced on you and started tickling you.

"That's what you get for making me suffer." He said as started tickling you. You begged for mercy as you burst out laughing. "By the way, i'm glad to see you play again it's gonna light up my mood." He finally stopped and patted your head. 

"I think i'm more glad that I get to see you smile." You said trying to give him a kiss on the cheek, but he dodged it again. "HIROTO GET BACK HERE! THIS IS WHAT YOU SIGNED UP FOR WHEN YOU DECIDED TO BECOME MY BOYFRIEND! LEMME KISS YOUR KISSABLE FACE!" You screamed after Kiraa as you chased him around the orphanage.

Tatsuya: Did you hear that? (F/N) and Hiroto are finally together.

Midorikawa: Finally! Like the saying goes: the sexual tension between those two was killing me.

Tatsuya: ... Why are we friends?

Midorikawa: I ask myself that everyday.
