Sakuma Jirou x Haizaki's sister!reader

hi, i am so hyped that someone finally decided to give this boi some love CUZ HE DEFINITELY DESERVES IT, HE'S AN AWESOME CAPTAIN AND ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE CAN FIGHT ME!! ANYWAYS ENJOY!

You were an expert chef and there was no doubt of that. All you had to do was come down to Seishou's practice and see how quickly (Y/N)'s rice balls disappeared after all the boys were done with training. Everyone would praise (F/N) for her awesome cooking skills. Today was no exception, you decided to arrive early today and took a seat next to Haruna.

"I hope you made extra rice balls today because coach decided to train the boys even harder today." Haruna explained to you. 

"Don't worry Haruna, i've got you covered. I decided to make an extra plate today, just in case." Haruna sighed in relief. You couldn't help but to giggle at her reaction. Haruna was your best friend ever since you and Ryouhei has moved in, you were in the same classes, same clubs and had the same interests. Food and journalism. 

"Hey (F/N), Yuuto and me are going down to Teikoku Academy later. He wants to meet up with his friends and I thought I could do some research about the team's players." Being Seishou's manager also meant being responsible for collecting data on other teams and their players. You looked over the field to find your brother, like always he was ignoring everyone and playing his own style of football. You sighed and walked over to him.

"Hey, can I go to Teikoku Academy please? It's for research." You asked himin hope he would say yes. Ryouhei looked down at you and smiled as he petted your head. 

"Sure, go ahead. Just make sure to be home for dinner." You said bye to him after practice and were off to Teikoku with Kidou and Haruna. Kidou had personally asked for his driver to come pick him up to take you there. "It'll be quicker and less bothersome." He had said. 

"(F/N), I want you to personally meet Sakuma Jirou when we get there. Not only is he the captain of the team and you can collect data but he's also a good cook. I think you'll get along." He smiled at you from the front seat after he finished explaining to you. You nodded and Haruna gave you a nudge and whispered 'ooh (F/N) has got a date.' You both burst into a fit of giggles. Kidou looked back at you both and then shook his head. 'Girls...' He thought to himself.

"Here we are." Announced Kidou as you all stepped out of the car. Teikoku was far much scarier and intimidating that you thought. Unlike you, Haruna and Kidou didn't seem surprised or taken back by the huge building. 

As you followed Haruna and Kidou around the dark hallways of the academy, fear started to grow within you. What if the captain was mean to you? What if he was a better cook than you? But worst of all, what would happen to you if he tried to kidnap you? (reader-chan wtf, Sakuma is an angel XD) Finally, you arrived at a large room where the Teikoku team was gathered. As you entered everyone's eyes turned towards you. 

"KIDOU!" You heard a few voices say in unison. The first to approach him was a tall boy with cyan hair. He quickly engaged with him into a conversation, they seemed to be very good friends. You couldn't remember the last time you had seen  Kidou this happy, especially ever since your brother gave him and the team such a hard time. 

"(F/N), this is Sakuma Jirou Teikoku's team captain." Kidou said as he pointed at Sakuma. Sakuma quickly seemed embarassed and shook his hands in front of him. 

"Please, I'm nowhere near as a good captain as Kidou was." (BBY BOI YOU ARE AWESOME, im sorry i just-) He said modestly with a slight hint of disappointment. He probably missed having Kidou on his team.

"Sakuma, meet Haizaki (F/N) Seishou Academy's manager along with Haruna. She's a great cook just like you. I think you'll get along quite well." Continued to explain Kidou. Sakuma awkwardly approached you and stretched a shaky hand towards you which you took and shook.

"Nice to meet you Sakuma!" You said trying  not to sound nervous.

"N-nice to meet you too, Haizaki" Said Sakuma just as nervous as you were. You assured him that it was okay to call you by your first name as Haizaki was mostly used to refer to your brother. "Well, shall we get going (F/N)?" 

"Oh...Um, yes." You said tucking your (H/C) behind your ear and following him to wherever he was taking you. Before leaving, you saw Haruna send a wink at you and mouthing 'good luck'. Luck for what? What was happening? After a few seconds of walking in the empty halls you finally plucked up the courage to ask where you were heading off to. He looked at you with a warm smile and replied casually: "To the kitchen, of course." You had not prepared yourself mentally for that or at all. When Sakuma saw your confused expression.

"It's easier for me to be more relaxed when i'm cooking, it's a way for me to keep my mind off the nerves." You understood what he meant, sometimes you felt that cooking was your escape from reality. You reached the kitchen and found that there was any ingredient you could ever think of.

"Ok, we've got 1 hour to make the food. Let's get to know each other in an hour." Said Sakuma as you and hurried off to get your ingredients. You cooked, spiced and baked like never before while having a casual conversation with Sakuma. You learnt a lot about each other in the hour and after the hour instead of presenting your food to the others you just sat there and had lots of fun making jokes while eating each other's food.

"Welp, this was fun we should do this again." Said Sakuma stretching his arms and helping you get up.

"Yup, next time we should make it a date-" You were just about to say at a restaurant when you heard someone from far away scream your name. Ryouhei was here. Uh oh. You quickly looked at Sakuma and said "Call me...?" As you ran off towards your brother. You had missed dinner time and Haizaki had come looking for you, you were in deep deep trouble.
