"Remember - have everyone there by 7 or you're dead." I heard a chuckle through the phone.

"Babe calm down" My dear Alice said back. "Everything will be perfect. Just enjoy it. How's the situation over there?"

"Still waiting for him at the airport, he'll land in about 5 minutes and I will have him there at 7 pm sharp." I smiled.  "Al I'm so excited, I haven't seen him in 3 months."

"Well that is one of the issues when you crush on your famous, ridiculously talented and majorly hot best friend." She taunted me.

"Al! Why don't you shout it from a rooftop next time huh?" I scoffed

"Hey don't test me." She teased.  "Besides everyone with functioning eyes can see how adorably perfect you are together. Just grow up and tell him!" She urged for the 87349th time

"It's just that I don't think he feels the same. And I love him too much to lose him."

"Al, he loves you too." She assured.

"I don't think so. If he was really into me, he would've asked me out. But he never has." I sighed. I have been friends with him for about five years now and in most of that time I have beared through his one night stands, his relationships and worse of all - his heartbreaks, wanting nothing more than to scream at his face that I would never break his heart. And I did, in my head while trying to keep him from killing himself with gargantuan amounts of alcohol to get through rough times.

"Have you ever thought that maybe he feels the same? And just like you, he doesn't want to ruin your friendship?"

I had to admit she made a point but I could never believe that he would feel the same. Lifting my eyes I spotted him, even though he had sunglasses, a big hoodie and a scarf on. I chuckled at that. Stop being so adorable goddammit!

"Al I have to go now, he's here" I said back.

"Yay,  tap his his fine ass for me." She laughed.

"Bye weirdo." I smiled.

"Bye dork." She finished off our trademark goodbye.

I couldn't erase the grin off my face as I walked towards him slowly and was rewarded with his stupid perfect smile back. Why do you have to be so adorable Brendon Urie?

I sped up a bit and threw my arms around his neck - basically suffocating him - while he hugged me back.

"I missed you." I sighed as I hugged the life out of him.

He hugged tighter, lifting me up a bit as I let out a chuckle.

"I missed you too babygirl." He said back. I tried to keep my heart still at the nickname and proximity, but failed miserably. He kept using babygirl as my nickname, even though he had no idea what that did to my heart.

"Happy birthday babe!" I smiled at him.

"It is now." He smiled back. Yep, I'm gone.

When he put me back down,  we picked up his bags and left in my car to go towards his house.

"Sorry Brendon all this goddamn traffic. We'll be there soon though." I smiled, turning to find him already looking at me.

"It's okay. I'm happy to spend my birthday with you, let that be in a car or out on a nice dinner." He said while rubbing his thumb over my cheek. I died. My heart just stopped at that. But I said nothing and turned forward, starting to drive again. Throughout the ride, he kept talking about the tour, the band, his music, his eyes always sparkling. He's so gooey about his music.
