"What the hell is going on here?!" Jenny screamed furiously, her face red and her whole body trembling.
"Jenny, I think you should relax. You're not in good shape, your whole body is shaking! You have to rest." I said gently, trying to calm her down.
"Don't tell me to relax!" She screamed, "That French whore is in front of your eyes and you aren't even moving! Nick, you've chased her for more than a year, she got me into a coma and murdered a prime minister and God knows how many thousands more people!"
"I wouldn't say thousands, just a few hundred, I don't like fake news," Lavender remarked comfortably.
"You better shut up or I'll shoot you in the head." Jenny screamed furiously, her body almost collapsing with tremors.
"Oh, mon amour, I don't think this is the time and the place to behave like that. Please let us explain, belle," Enzo began to approach Jenny, his hands raised in submission as she aimed her gun at him again, "We're just passing by, we're not going to stay here for long, if that's what you're afraid of, even though I wouldn't mind stay here for you." He winked at her.
Lavender sighed, "She's getting married soon, you little screwed up piss of shit."
"Cela ne m'a jamais empêché d'obtenir ce que je voulais." He said in French. ("It never stopped me from getting what I wanted").
She sighed. "I won't interfere, but don't say I didn't warn you when she'll shoot you in the cock."
"Enough!" Jenny screamed, and from the tremors of her hand the gun almost fell out of her hand. Enzo took the opportunity to get closer and try to snatch it from her hand, but she took over and began to pull the trigger. "If you come any closer, I'll blow your head off."
He backed away, a broad smile on his lips and he whisper, "A woman with a fighting spirit, just how I like it."
"Nick, why aren't you doing anything? Stop her! Shoot her! I don't care what you decide to do, as long as you do something." Jenny almost wept, "She ruined our lives!"
I could see Lavender moving uneasily behind me, shifting her weight from one foot to the other.
"Jenny, you're exaggerating, let me explain." I said, raising my hands to surrender and moving forward slowly, "Please Jenny, put down the gun and we'll talk about it."
"Are you working with her now?! Are you betraying the country?!" Jenny asked, tears rising in her eyes.
"Jenny, it's a lot more complicated than you think." I said, looking at Enzo, signaling to him to take advantage of this opportunity to snatch the gun from her.
"How can the situation be complicated? Lavender is a criminal, she's a murderer. Is that all right with you?! Especially after what happened to your parents?! Nick, she changed you!" Jenny's face turned red and the tears ran down her face, and sobs came out of her mouth.
"Jenny, please!" I begged her to listen to me and just then Enzo took over and took the gun from her.
But it didn't matter - I saw the hatred and betrayal in her eyes, and I knew that no matter what happened Jenny wouldn't listen to me anymore.
I lost her.

Lavender sat on the sofa in the living room, a purple glass with hot coffee in her hands, a thoughtful look on her face.
Jenny fell asleep in my bedroom after I had escorted her there so she wouldn't try to snatch the gun on my dresser, and she locked herself there.
I was broken. Jenny was beyond my partner, she was like a family member to me. I couldn't bear to think she hated me.
