Ready As I'll Ever Be

Chapter 1: Disney

Roman screamed with glee as he finely got the room to do as he wanted. Stepping inside his outfit changed to better suit the story he would be creating. He paused for a moment considered something before going to visit Thomas.

"Thomas I have accomplish the most amazing, spectacular, magic thing ever! Come see!"

"Oh could it wait? Virgil and I were about to watch a movie." Thomas gestured to he anxious trait sitting on the couch. "You can join us if you want. It's Disney."

"Why watch a Disney movie when you could BE in your own!" Roman yelled excitedly.

"I'm listen." Virgil huffed, leaning forward to rest his face in his hand.

"The thing I was just talking about! I've created a room in the mind palace specifically for creating a Disney type movie setting! It be like we're staring in our own Disney movie!" Roman rambled.

"Does that mean we get to choose a movie or does one form around us?" Thomas asked slightly confused on the idea.

"One forms around us. Like we are Disney characters who don't know what's going to happen! The room chooses everything and as characters we choose what we do, the room responds with the effects!"

"That sounds amazing Roman!" Patton yelled rising up to listen in.

"I am quite curious on how that may play out." Logan said rising up as well.

"This is brilliant! We can all go! It will be like a vacation in the mind!" Roman smiled, glad that his effort was being appreciated and approved.

"That's a genius idea! Let's do it." Thomas called. The sides all sunk down with Thomas following. The appeared in front of a door with a large crown posted on in.

"We just walk in hear and the room will respond and decide everyone's role and the setting!" Roman said walking in first. His outfit changed from his prince outfit to an outfit that still screamed rich. He had a collar with a pendant. His red sash remained, a bright color that was probably the most colorful thing in the room. Patton followed with a skip in his step and gasped in amazement as his outfit changed. Everything became old fashioned like the medieval times and a grey scarf was tied around his neck. His glasses became round with a thin frame and another grey jacket like cloak was tied around his waist. Logan walked in and immediate frowned as his outfit changed. His tie was gone and he felt like he was wearing some sort of skirt but Patton insisted he looked quite fetching. Thomas walked in and grabbed at the crown that appeared on his head. His outfit appeared to be simple and kingly. He loved it and thanked Roman for the vacation. They waited expectedly for Virgil knowing he was anxious about coming into the unexpected. He finely stepped in and watched as his clothes changes. His hoodie became more of a cloak and he looked much like a wanna be rich. 

"Aww! I can't believe I'm saying this emo but you look so cute!" Roman squealed at the frowning trait.

"I look stupid Princey." Virgil grumbled. Just then the door, to what they now noticed was what appeared to be a castle bedroom, opened and a man walked in head bowed.

"King Thomas, you are required in the great hall for an advisory meeting." The man looked up and his eyes widened almost comically at the others in the room. "My apologies I thought you were alone. Although I am glad I found you. Knight Roman and Sir Logan are supposed to attend as well." The man left with a bow and the others all stared at the now closed door.

"I'm a king?" Thomas asked grabbing the crown again.

"It would appear you are indeed the head Royal Thomas. Now I suggest we follow along with the story and go to the great hall. Though I'm unsure of what Patton and Virgil will do while we are gone." Logan answered.

"Me and Virgil-"

"Virgil and I."

"Virgil and I will go explore the town! It's huge from what I can see!" Patton explained from his spot near a large window.

"That's sounds like loads of fun! You'll have to come back and tell us everything!" Roman said. He smiled as he followed Thomas and Logan through the castle, glad that the room actually worked and they were apparently in a kingdom. He hoped there would be magic and was excited for all that could come!
