"Let them go Deceit!" Virgil yelled. He stepped forward angrily but moved back again when Thomas's face screwed up in pain as Deceit grabbed him tighter.
"I'm not going to do that Virgil." Deceit said.
"Deceit this is stupid. You can't kill Thomas and his whole world is imaginary. I don't understand what you could gain from this."
"I'm gaining the knowledge that I'm ruining your lives!" Deceit yelled. "Your host is in pain, your creativity has betrayed you, and you are all stuck here in a miserable world you can't control. You guys always dismiss me and I just want to see you suffer!"
"Stop yelling Coleby. I'm trying to watch the battle." Roman said from the balcony. It's like he hadn't heard a word Deceit had said nor noticed Virgil was there.
"Roman!" Virgil yelled trying to catch the man's attention. It worked cause he turned around in shock and stared at the man he loves before him. Virgil wanted to cry again noticing the yellow in Roman's eyes.
"Virgil? Get out of here!" Roman yelled suddenly angry instead of startled. He looked at Deceit holding Thomas on the floor. "Deceit? What happened to Coleby? Never mind that. I need you all to leave! I have a battle to go join!" Roman said trying to storm out but Virgil moves to block the door.
"Roman please stop this!" Virgil begged as he began to cry desperately grabbing Roman. The yellow flickered for a moment in Roman's eyes and Virgil took that as his cue. He grabbed Roman's cheeks and forced their lips together. He kissed Roman and soon felt Roman's hands move to his waist to kiss back.
"NO! STOP IT!" Deceit could be heard yelling in the background. Only Thomas's yelp of pain stopped the two sides from continuing to make out. The both whipped to look at him. Deceit had shoved him face first into the wooden floor and had turned tail to run. The yellow had left from Roman's eyes completely and he yanked the black roses of his head before running after the snake faced man. Virgil rushed to Thomas's side and helped him up into a sitting position.
"Virgil what did you do?" Thomas asked confused as Virgil fussed over the bruise forming on Thomas's shoulder.
"True loves kiss or something like that. Thomas this is Disney we're talking about remember." Thomas gasped and almost cried from joy before wrapping his arms around Virgil. Virgil happily returned the hug and sighed. The sounds of the battle had stopped as the roses effect disappeared and Roman returned dragging a whining Deceit behind him. It wasn't a moment later when Logan and Patton burst into the room as well panting hard, swords in both hands.
"Did we stop hi- Deceit!" Patton yelped at the snake man.
"Patton!" Roman cried happily. "I'm so sorry about everything that's happened." Roman rushed to hug the dad trait. "I'm sorry I locked you in the dungeons. I can't believe Deceit played me like that."
Patton hugged Roman back and cried with him. "Are we aloud to go home now?"
"Anything you want padre."
"Love. We should let them have some time together now." Logan said dropping their swords and grabbing Patton's hand to lead him to Thomas. Virgil stepped forward to Roman and kissed him again desperately.
