Tony's panic attacks

The Avengers VS Derek

Tony had a boyfriend. one the team had met many times, and didn't care for. Derek Skyzik. a nasty man. Tony was always covered in bruises and was always honest about how he got them. 'oh, Derek hit me again.' or 'oh, Derek got mad again.' the team hated it and him. they were getting tired of it. especially now since Tony was flinching in battle and physically couldn't stand near Steve anymore, or Thor. he couldn't even stand near Hulk.

"Tony?" Bruce ask as Tony came into the building on crutches.

"whats up?" Tony ask looking over.

"holy shit Tony what happened to you?" Steve ask looking over. Tony's nose was bandaged and his leg was in a boot, he had stitches above one of his eye's and his wrist was in a brace.

"oh, Derek threw me down some stairs nothing big." Tony replied heading for the kitchen.

"are you okay?" Natasha ask jumping up from her seat.

"duh, I'm fine. not the first time. I was lucky it was only six steps this time. last time it was a flight of stairs." Tony shrugged. the team looked at each other.

"Tony this has to stop." Bruce said, surprising everyone. Tony paused.

"what?" Tony ask confused.

"you have to end it with Derek before he kills you." Bruce said.

"I'm dead inside." Tony deadpanned. they team was shocked. "relax I'm joking. calm down. Derek's not going to kill me. if he was actually hurting me, I'd leave." Tony assured him.

"Tony your foot is in a fucking boot!" Steve said. Tony flinched slightly and shrugged slightly, looking towards the kitchen.

"yeah so?" Tony muttered. he walked into the kitchen and nearly dropped his crutches when Phil startled him. "jeez, you need a bell." Tony muttered.

"and you need to break up with Derek." Phil replied.

"again with the Derek thing." Tony scold, turning and heading for the elevator. Phil walked out to the living room.

"he just headed upstairs." Phil sighed.

"isn't Derek up there?" Clint ask. Phil nodded.

"Jarvis keep us posted if anything happens." Steve said.

"of course Captain Rogers." Jarvis replied. they all sat on the edge of their seats, waiting, any minute now Derek would strike. "emergency on the 38th floor." Jarvis said after about 46 minutes.

"whats happening Jarvis?" Bruce ask as they headed for the elevator.

"Mr.Skyzik is tossing Mr.Stark around." Jarvis replied. they headed up as quickly as they could, Jarvis speeding up the elevator by 25%. as they stepped out Tony came flying at them, taking Natasha and Clint out as he crashed into them. Tony, realizing his friends were up there, got up and ran at Derek. the 6'4 man didn't like that. he grabbed Tony roughly and through him head first into a nearby wall. Tony groaned, but got up and threw a punch at Derek. the others were afraid to step in at this point, until Derek broke Tony's arm and threw him at the wall again, he didn't get back up.

"Tony!" Bruce shouted.

"Bruce go check on Tony, I can handle this guy." Steve said running at Derek. Bruce ran for Tony immediately, taking time to carefully set his arm before checking him over.

"what do you need Bruce?" Cling ask.

"call SHIELD. get an emergency surgery set up! Tony's' got broken ribs and skull fracture. there's a growing purple spot under his skin, probably internal bleeding and his arm is broken." Bruce said. Phil picked up his phone to call and Bruce yelpped getting kicked in the back of the head. he growled and stood, dusting himself off. "buddy, I'm the last person you want to piss off." Bruce said rolling up his sleeves.
