Everyone tries to understand one another in their own way.

Jumin Han

I respect Jumin's privacy, you see. So to search and see which room is the bathroom feels wrong. Simultaneously, I was in desperate need of a shower. I sighed and decided to wait an hour or two to see if I got a call.

I didn't so...I actually had to act now. I sighed and opened up the door next to the guest bathroom.

It's a closet. Filled with cat supplies. From catnip to sweaters. Alright, Jumin.

I opened up the next door. It was his office, it looked like. I closed it quickly. From what I saw though, it was beyond organized. I checked the next door to see another closet, but this time with what looked to be old files and records. Definitely not my place there.

I checked the last door to see a bathroom. I was just thankful not to have to go upstairs. I can only presume to be Jumin's area. Bedroom, closet, bathroom, etcetera.

I quickly got in the shower and brushed my teeth, unfortunately having to change into my day old clothes. Still, no calls from Jumin. I am beginning to think he won't bother.

I walked out of the bathroom, and looked at his living room. It was a nice space, in all black and white. A black sectional, on a white rug, across from a black television. Televsion was not what I wanted to see right now.

Elizabeth had other ideas. She kept...sitting in front of it. I turned it on to see a channel of an aquarium with classical music in the background. She seemed so happy when I finally understood what she wanted.

I suppose this is good time for reflection. Except...on what exactly? Sure...Jumin is becoming a larger issue in my life, but he's not yet. So...I'm stuck. Listening to classical music. With a cat.

Brring!

Brring!

I have never been so thankful for a call from Jumin. I picked up the phone with incredible speed.

"Yes?" I asked into the phone.

"I hope you found everything this morning," Jumin said.

"It took a bit of effort and anxiety, but yes."

"Ha. I can imagine. I'm sorry things are a mess." I looked at the pristine home around me.

"Uh...um...well."

He chuckled again."I'm just kidding," he said softly. In fact, he sounded much softer than he usually does.

"Oh. Well. Yeah..."

"Are those the only words you know? It's quite adorable, so I don't mind."

Adorable? He must be out of his mind. Light flirting is something, but this is entirely different.

"Oh. Thank you."

"I'm sorry I rushed out of there so suddenly. I didn't give you any instructions. Not to mention I threatened you. You should know that I would never fire you," he said. "At least not over arriving a bit late."

"It's okay," I said.

"I appreciate that. I hope you figured out that the TV was on Elizabeth's favorite channel. If not, I'm sure she's upstairs watching the fish tank anyway. She makes do."

"Oh. I figured it out."

"Smart girl," he said. It was so gentle, his voice I mean. What was usually deep and strategic, was now moderate and flowing. "I also trust that you found the bathroom."
