I left work feeling rather bold. Not only had I headed in despite having frankly been in a terrible state for the past few weeks, but I also was meeting up with Eun-mee and Meg tonight. It was like I was finally getting a chance to live my life. It had been so long since that feeling really came to me.

I headed home and looked for something appropriate for going out. I almost don't care about the press, but I'll still put on a coat so they don't know exactly what I'm wearing. I assume were going to Itaewon since Meg is still a foreigner despite being extremely accustomed, and having Korean down. Doesn't mean Meg still doesn't feel like an expat though. With that said, I pulled out an outfit appropriate for the area. A pretty white mini skirt and a yellow blouse to match. Looking nice without overdoing it like you would for Gangnam.

I spun around in the mirror, and then suddenly got a good look at my day old makeup. I fixed it to be appropriate, and even winged my eyeliner for once. I threw some curlers in my hair just for fun too. Why not? Let's live a little.

I also put on a long black trench coat. Thank God it's still raining so I don't look like I'm about to flash everyone. I put on simple black pumps and looked in the mirror. I don't look too bad actually, but I'll have to find a way to lose the press. I sighed knowing exactly who to call.

"Hi Miran. I was just leaving the office. I was actually about to call. I was hoping for a date night," Jumin said, cheerfully through the phone.

Tempting...

"Sorry...I was actually meeting with some friends tonight. Old, from college."

"Oh, do I know them?"

"I don't think so," I thought, going through what I know about my friends. Meg is an architect, and Eun-mee is a teacher. I don't think their paths are likely to intersect.

"Mmm. Well, can I have you promise to have you next weekend? I want to take you somewhere very special," Jumin answered.

"Of course. I'll be all yours next weekend."

"Perfect. Why did you call, Miran?"

"Well, since I am going out, I wasn't quite sure how to lose the press. They've pretty much been stalking me the past two days..."

"With the engagement news getting out like that, I don't think they'll be leaving you alone for a while."

"Sorry about that."

"Oh, don't apologize. Someone looked at your hand. It would've happened the next time you left the apartment. At least the world knows now that you're mine."

"No one was trying to take me," I chuckled.

"Let's keep it that way," He answered. "With that said though, if you want to lose the press, I'll send a driver over. They are all quite good at losing them."

I thought for a moment, about to protest, but that does seem to be the smartest way. Otherwise, I'll probably be chasing them all over the city.

"That works for me. Thank you, Jumin."

"Of course, Miran. It's safer that you use the driver service anyway. I'll inform him to give you a card so that you can call them yourself, especially since you're on the account anyway."

"How many of your accounts am I on?" I questioned. Jumin hesitated.

"Many. You've captured my imagination though. Have you packed up your apartment at all?" He asked.

"Oh, of course. Boxes...and boxes," I lied. I could hear him softly chuckle.

"Really? Let me see," He answered.
