Cassiopeia
A burning migraine was killing me, early in the morning. It might've been why I was absent yesterday. I couldn't really remember.
Something felt cool on my head, though. That relieves some of my pain...
I rolled around my bed. I didn't have plans to go to school
But I knew a certain someone wouldn't allow that.
"Pei..." I heard his sweet voice from outside my room. I smiled and pretended to be asleep.
His voice slowly came closer and closer. The door opened, and I felt his presence. Trev!
"Pei, we'll be late," he whispered while shaking me gently. Pfft, like you can wake up anyone with that!
Travis Code is gentle and cuddly. He's like, a cinnamon roll. He looks like one, too. He's always been weak as a kid, and he has such feminine looks. He's always been like that. He's so fair and has dark hair. His green eyes make him seem mysterious. He's tall, slender (I think? He never takes his shirt off in front of me since he was 14), and lanky. I've known him since kindergarten, and he's never changed.
"Pei, Pei.." He cooed. I fought the laughter that almost came out. Suddenly, his body leaned on to me, and I could feel his breath on my cheeks. I felt warmth creep up my cheeks.
And then, he whispered to my ear, "Cassiopeia...wake up."
I felt a weird sensation, and I could feel the sweat on my thighs. "I---I'm awake," I replied, opening my eyes. I saw his sweet smile. "That's good. Now go wash your face and join us downstairs. Auntie told me that I should eat breakfast with you."
"You haven't eaten yet?" I said, yawning. He giggled a sweet sound. "I can't say no to Auntie."
I grinned and punched his arm. "You should, sometimes."
He helped me stand up and told me he'd be waiting downstairs. I nodded and gently pushed him out of my door playfully.
I took a bath and changed into my school uniform. I tied my hair into pigtails and then went downstairs. I sat down and Mom sighed when she saw me.
"It took you 30 minutes, young lady," Said Mom, frowning. She took a sip of her coffee. "You can't make Travis wait forever!"
"It's alright, Auntie. I'm used to it." Trev chuckled, coming from the comfort room.
"He says so." I grinned.
Mom sighed and gulped down the contents of her coffee. "You, stop spoiling my child! She'll never learn like that."
Travis chuckled quietly and scratched his fluffy, fluffy hair. "I'm sorry."
Mom sighed again and retreated to wherever else.
Travis sat next to me and took one slice of bread. "Thanks for waiting. She's always nagging. It's annoying, isn't it?"
Travis smiled and put strawberry jam on his bread. "She's just worried about you."
I faked a sigh. "Trev, who's your best friend, again?"
Travis glanced at me and smiled sweetly. "You are, Cassie."
My eyes grew at the nickname. "You----You called me Cassie!"
Travis smiled with a little bit of wonder. "Yeah, I did...?" It was more of a question than a statement. I grabbed both of his shoulders and shook them a little. "Cassie, Trev! You told me you wouldn't call me that ever again because you thought it was weird even though I liked it!"
