The old lady shook her head sadly. "She's out right now! Meeting a friend or something. Maybe later night you can come over?"
"It's alright. But who was Cassie meeting?"
"She told me not to tell you. What, have you gotten replaced by some boy?" She follows this with hearty laughter. "Kidding, hopefully!"
I smiled. "Indeed, hopefully."
