Have you ever had one of those days where you don't want to do anything? Where you are extremely lazy for no reason?

Yeah it was one of those days. I mean I was lazy twenty four seven days of my life but that Monday was just a special lazy day.

My weekend went on without a hitch after the interview. Gina and I had gone for coffee then she came back to my place, where we found a meal fit for royalty, courtesy of Hamida, waiting for us, then afterwards we smoked shisha/hookah, as we drank whiskey while dancing and talking about random shit, you know the usual.

She even ended up sleeping over. Turns out she and Liz had a lot in common, they were practically inseparable and if I was the jealous type I'd have thrown a fit.

They left Sunday evening and I hate to be that friend but I was glad to have some time to myself.
Monday rolled by faster than I wished it would but since I didn't have classes I thought I would sleep in. Well my lazy day plans went out the window the moment my crazy best friend dragged me out of the bed with my legs and dropped me down on the floor.
"Seriously bitch! What was that for?! "I exclaimed outraged as I glared at the smirking bitch.
"Well, I tried calling first but you had switched off your phone. You would have prevented all these by the way.."She said moving to sit on my unmade warm goody, aka my bed.

"I'll have to remember to take my key back."I said as I got up from the floor and headed down stairs to freshen up.
"Yeah you should. However I already made two copies and Hamida has one extra copy too."She replied smugly and I could picture her smug look on her face as if she just discovered the cure to cancer.

I sighed annoyed, scolding myself for the stupid idea of giving my best friends a key to my apartment. If I had been drank I would have blamed it but unfortunately it had been one of the occasions I wasn't exactly proud of.

I finished freshening up, heading to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I found my fridge nearly empty except for the pizza box we had left from Sunday lunch and decided to have that and a cup of black tea.

"May I know why you woke me up, early on my lazy day?" I asked as Liz walked into the kitchen and made herself comfortable on one of the kitchen stools.

"Well, I just felt like paying my best friend a visit and see how she was doing. " She said while scrolling through her phone.
"Yeah sure. One that you ain't even giving her attention instead you are busy on your phone, staning on those beautiful Koreans men."I told her rolling my eyes at her lame reason.
"Can you blame me though? I mean have you seen these guys?"She said getting all googly eyed like she always did when she talked about things she loved.
"Oh trust me, I have seen them enough to have them imprinted in my mind. And if you remember, I've told you every time that they are too pretty for me. "
"Yeah, cause you like rugged looking men, like your to be boss... "She said with a smirk and I rolled my eyes at her.

Ever since I told them about the arrogant asshole, they haven't let me breath. And it got even worse when they googled the fucker and saw how he looked like.

As much as I hated to admit it, Alexander Rodriguez was hot. In fact he lit the fire hot. With his black styled hair, to his green eyes and dimpled face with the slight stubble to his tall sexy physique that seemed to fit his suits perfectly. But despite all these, he was still an asshole.

I decided to ignore her comment as I'd end up loosing the argument anyway.
"Speaking of him, have you gotten any word from them?"
she asked and I knew then what had brought the bitch over.
"You woke me up to just ask me that?" I asked outraged and she looked up noting my expression. I rushed to her side and she ran from me already knowing what was about to go down.
"If this helps my case, I did try to call you...."she said with a nervous chuckle.
"Had it occurred to you that maybe I didn't want to be disturbed?" I asked her, my voice quivering with anger.
"Well yeah but then I thought maybe something had happened to you... "She tried to explain.
"That didn't give you a reason to wake me up... "I said and just as I was about to lunge at her, I heard my ringtone play.
I was momentarily shocked as the last time I had my phone it was off. I narrowed my eyes at Liz and she gave me a sheepish smile, making her my culprit. We continued the weird stare down until it stopped ringing but it began ringing again.
I glanced at the caller ID noting that it was an unknown number. Curious to who it was, I answered and instantly recognized the voice on the other side ax it belonged to the woman who did my interview.
"Hello. Is this Dhahabu's number?" She asked in her posh accent.
"This is she. How may I help you? " I asked nervously biting my lip.
