Chapter Two:The ultimate nanny job

"That was the best pizza ever!!"I exclaimed out loud with huge satisfied smile on my face. I was even positive I was glowing with happiness and content after finishing a whole box of the medium size Hawaiian pizza and four pieces of chicken with fries and a huge tumbler of Coke.
The other two hated Hawaiian pizza so they always ordered pepperoni and mushrooms pizza, large which I doubted ever satisfied them but I had a bigger appetite to theirs so I was obviously no comparison.
It was the best way to finish what had began as an Awful day and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
My legs crossed beneath my butt, I got more comfortable in my seat, covering the baby blue blanket around me while the other two got cozy in the dark purple duvet that they shared.
"Thanks guys. I needed that after the awful four hours wasted on babysitting the ugly brat princess."I told them.
"We got you." Replied Liz.
"I don't understand why you haven't found anyone else to replace you there? Can't you just quit?" Asked Hamida.
"I can but I need the money and they happen to be my best paying clients at the moment." I replied with a sigh.
"Have you checked to see if you have been picked by other people?" She asked referring to my profile account on the nanny website.
"Nope. I've been so busy to even take time to look and see if I've been requested by other families."I replied honestly.
"Hmmm... Why don't we check now? I mean we ain't doing anything constructive right now and it won't hurt to see?" She persuaded me, Liz silently nodding in agreement.

Ever since I got the three families, I had gotten into a comfortable routine and being one who hated change or adapting to change I just never bothered to check. I wasn't all for the idea but it wouldn't hurt to check if I had been matched by more potential clients. Who knew, maybe I'd be lucky enough to land someone with more money and better behaved children.

Getting my laptop, I went to the nanny website and logged in to my account.
To my surprise I had gotten matched with five families.
"See? My gut was right!!" Said Hamida with a proud smile on her face.
"Let's see what they have to offer."I said.
The first four families I had matched with were great however they seemed to not to be compatible with my school schedules and my extra free time. The first two were especially demanding with both families having toddlers younger than a year.
The fifth family though seemed to be too good to be true. The timing of my job didn't clash with my school schedule and the pay was good. In fact it was better than good.
However the only down side would be I'd have to quit my other two nanny jobs as it demanded I be available six days of the week, except for Sundays, from Eleven am to Seven pm.
Further details about the job would be given to me after I confirmed my interest and a contact details were left at the bottom of the message.

I didn't even get the chance to state my opinion on the job before Liz took her phone and dialed the number. She placed the phone on speaker as we waited for the person on the other end to pick up.
"Don't you think its a little to late to be calling?" I whispered to her and she shushed me.
The phone rang some more before it beeped with no answer.
"See, I knew it wasn't meant to be." I told them.
"Maybe am fine with the jobs I have for now." I added.
"Don't be stupid. This job is the ultimate nanny job. If you got the job, you'll be sorted for the rest of your school years here." Said Liz.
Just then the phone rang, the number we had called displaying on the screen.
"Here you answer." She said throwing the phone on to my laps.
"Hell no, you do it since it was your idea." I give her the phone back.
"Oh come on guys!" Said Hamida answering the phone and putting it on speaker.

"Hello?" She answered.
"Hello. Am sorry I missed your call. How may I help you?" Asked a posh womanly voice.
"We are calling about the nanny job from the bestnannies.com website. We matched just a few hours ago."Hamida replied smoothly.
"Oh yes. We are in need of a nanny urgently and so far have managed to get a few people willing to take up the job. There will be an interview tomorrow at noon sharp. If you think you are up for the job then come to the address I will send you shortly after we are done talking with your credentials." She explained.
"Thank you ma'am. Ill be sure to come by tomorrow. Have a wonderful night and thanks for your time." Replied Hamida before the woman on the other side wished her a goodnight and hung up.
