After the day ended, I headed back home by the bus, I didn't see Emily since lunchtime even Ian disappeared after English class, I only saw Vicky and she gave me her address..I don't know how I'm gonna convince mom, she is not that overprotective kinda mother but still, we don't know anything here in New York..I'm gonna try
"Mom" I yelled closing the main door
"Yes Moon I'm here in the backyard" she yelled back
I took my shoes off and headed to the backyard, I found her sitting by the table drinking coffee while Elvis Presley is playing on the radio
"My beautiful classy Mom is having a moment with Elvis" I said hugging her from behind and she laughed kissing my cheek
"If your dad heard you, he will listen to Dorsi Day even more just to tease me " she said laughing and i giggled sitting next to her
"How was your first day?"
"It was really good actually, I thought it will be worse and yeah i have friends now can you imagine mom" I said smiling
"Really that fast who are they ?"
"Emily and Ian, they are friends in the first place Emily came up to me first and we had a really nice talk then she introduced me to Ian who is really nice too by the way, Then there is a group of people who are Jessica, Vicky, Damien and Alex, I talked to them at lunchtime and they...um"I stopped talking while looking at her
"They what?" she asked looking worried
"Don't be worried..they just asked me to come to a party they're doing today at Vicky's house" As i said i closed my eyes waiting for her respond
"Really Moon a party on the first day of school are you kidding..then you get drunk and do things you aren't aware of and maybe you go with a bo-"
"Mom stop" I chuckled
"First of all you know i don't drink and i won't ever drink, Second of all i won't go with a random guy anywhere don't you trust me!? "
"I trust you but i don't trust other people" she said holding my hand
"i know but i really want to go because i want to know them more and if i felt uncomfortable i will come back "
"Ok but take care "
"Thank you thank you " I hyped kissing her then I head to my room running
I put my bag on the bed and threw myself on it then i felt my phone vibrating in the bag multiple times
"Ugh who is this" i said to myself sitting up then opened the bag and grabbed my mobile, I found lots of messages..oh Emily created a group chat with me and Ian on iMessage
Em: Holaa i made this group to be easy for us to talk 24/7🤟🏻
Ian: 24/7 !! Can you first learn how to answer your phone when i call 🙄
Em: LMAO😂 Ian are you aware that you're shading me in front of Moon
Ian: you deserves 👊🏻😂
Me: Hi 🙃
Me: where did you guys disappear after school ?
Em: Nowhere
Ian: it's ok Em she is gonna be our friend now..look Moon Me and Emily have a place that we keep all our personal stuff,spend time there and somethings like that you can call it secret spot,secret place, comfort zone

Me: they introduced themselves to me then we talked a bit but at the end of the talk they invited me to a party💃🏻

Ian: Moon you really shouldn't go
Me: why?
Ian: it's not a welcome party it's a checking you out party
Em: A how to know a weakness point party
Me: I don't know they were kind to me this morning
Ian: As you like Moon but just take care of everything they do and take care of any word you say

Me: i will don't worry thank you ♥️
No one replied so i left my phone and headed to the bathroom to take a quick shower because after it i want to help Mom in lunch before Dad come,I took off my clothes and got into the shower and did the usual things
After i finished i wrapped a towel around me,went to my closet and wore my light blue pajamas which is a crop top and a long skinny stretch pants then I walked to the kitchen and mom is here already
"Mommy i want to help"
"Oh thank you "
"What should i do ?" i said rubbing my hands together
"I'm almost done i just want you to do the salad, here's the tomato and everything in that bowl" she said handing me the bowl
"Ok but first lets put on a song " i said smiling while turning on the sub
"You can light the mood up in a moment " she said giving me a warm smile
" i love you" i said kissing her cheek then i sat on the table to chop the tomatoes
I looked at the clock and it's 3:08 pm,I can't be late for the party..I'm excited
