Telling Daryl.

My legs are brightly colored red, from the hot liquid that burned my skin.
Simon better is long gone, after doing his to me. Negan has sent a team out to find him and bring him back to be punished.

The Aloe Vera gel soothes my stinging skin, as I apply another layer of it. The only time I ever been close to being this burnt was the first time I went to the beach with Lori, Rick, and Daryl.

Flashback:

" Come on Jax, we have been waiting all day to get in the water. Stop worrying about what bathing suit to wear and just pick one!"

I huffed in frustration,  as I glanced at my two favorites. The black bikini with white shells, or the mint green one. My fingers traced over each,  imagining Daryl's eyes as he sees me in one for the first time.

What if he doesn't like either of them?

I finally picked the mint one, hoping I made the right choice. I barely tie the string when Lorie barges in, holding her large tote in her hands.

" Let's go already.  I want to make it in time for the big bomb fire tonight."

" I know. I am ready.  "

Lori rests her hand on her hip glaring at me. " Move your ass!"

I picked up my bag while placing my sunglasses on my head. " Fine mother."

" Ugh! Don't start. " She complains,  as he shuts the door behind us. Rick and Daryl pull up just as we park our car.

Daryl looks hot in his black swim trunks and sexy sunglasses. Rick looks good too,  in his light blue trunks, and a large smile.

" Are you ready for some fun Jax?"
Daryl asks as he picks up a cooler full of food and drinks.

" I am. I think the stress of finals almost killed me. This vacation is perfect timing, especially since we have to move soon. "

His eyes narrow, as he placed the cooler on the burning sand. " What do you mean moving?"

I was confused, I thought my dad told him we were moving in July.

" My dad said he told you. He was offered a new job. He is to a partner with a big law firm in Chicago. "

" No. He didn't fucking tell me. How could you leave me? I thought you loved me?" His eyes were full of hurt and betrayal.
