Percy's POV
Annabeth. The most beautiful, wonderful, amazing person I know. Today was the day, I thought to myself. Today I was going to propose.
We had finally gotten through college together in New Rome. It was the best time ever. Getting to be somewhat normal people after all we've been through. We're back at Camp Half Blood for a while though. We want to be in New York to be close to camp, and my mom.
I have to totally catch Annabeth by surprise. I had been going over my plan in my head for weeks now, trying to get the details right. But, now that today was the day, I'm totally nervous.
Annabeth's POV
"Ouch Piper, not so tight!" I said while Piper was doing my hair. Tonight Percy had a surprise for me. He said I needed to meet him down at the beach around 7. What is he up to this time, I thought to myself. Well all he told me was that we were going out, so, hopefully I'm not overdressed.
"All finished! Oh my goodness. Annabeth you look gorgeous!" Piper yelled. I turned around to the mirror in my cabin. Wow, I've really overdone it this time.
"Piper you don't think I'm overdressed do you?"
"Of course not! Percy will pass out when he sees you!"
"Haha. I hope not, because that'll definitely ruin our night. Thanks for everything Pipes. I really appreciate it."
"Aww no problem Annabeth! You'd better get going though, or you'll be late."
She was right, it was already 6:50, and I needed a few minutes to get down there. I stepped out of my cabin, and headed straight to the beach.
