(A/N ok so Nero doesn't actually want to marry Annabeth, he just wants to get Percy on his side bc he's super powerful and all...)
Percy's POV
I will kill them all. Every single person on that boat who took Annabeth away from me, right after we got engaged. The gods always screwed us over. But right now I had to figure out to defeat this Nero guy.
I charged and jumped up onto the deck of his boat. I stood about 10 feet away from him. He looked at me with a deadly gleam in his eyes.
"Oh Percy, when will you ever understand? You don't know what's its like to be on this side. Always doing the gods bidding has to be quite tiresome."
"It is, but it's only so people like you don't get control of everything!" I screamed at him in rage.
"Oh child, I will make a deal with you." He twisted his crooked smile.
"I don't do deals." I grumbled at him.
"If you come and fight with me, I will let you have Annabeth back. But, If you choose to fight me here tonight, I will have her thrown over board."
"You wouldn't dare throw her anywhere!"
"Oh, but I would. It's about time you learn to come over to the right side. Fight for the right people."
"If I had a dollar for every time someone said that to me I'd be rich. But the answer is no. So you can give me Annabeth back or die in extreme pain. I'll send you straight down to Tartarus!"
"Oh I'm not afraid of Tartarus!" He smiled grimly at me.
"Well you should be. Because that's where you're about to end up. And trust me, it's not fun."
"Well if you wont come fight for me, I guess you're going to fight against me." He let out a sigh. "Guards, go bind the girl and prepare to throw her overboard."
I screamed and charged.
