An arc of assorted purple and white flowers supported by the pergola. The distant ocean in the background producing a gentle harmony of calm waves. My hair in long bouncy curls. The baby blue dress stopped just before my knees. I sat down and saw all the groomsmen approach the pergola. Noah chuckled with his friends who were all in matching charcoal grey suits.

Everyone arose from their seats as the bride approached. Vows, rings and kisses exchanged in front of the crowd of elegantly dressed witnesses of the white-felt occasion. I arose from my seat and felt a vibration from my phone.

'BAKA (Japanese for idiot): How is it going? Did Noah hit on you yet?'

'PABO (Korean for idiot): No, thank the lord'

'BAKA: You say that now but when he talks to you all your feelings will resurface just like a PABO'

'PABO: You are lucky, I'm not there to beat the crap out of you'

I felt someone tap me on the shoulder, I turned to face the person, who turned out to be Noah.

"Woah you are looking really beautiful tonight, what is your name?" I heard him exclaim. I gulped in anxiety.

"You should know my name, don't act dumb" I shot back.

"If I knew the name of this beautiful lady I wouldn't ask. Do you want to go outside?" He replied.

'It wouldn't hurt, he is drunk, he wouldn't remember me anyways' I agreed and walked out to the pavilion.

His tie fell to the ground and he struggled to place the tie back on. I rolled my eyes and helped him fix it. I could feel him staring at me as I secured the tie around the crisp white collar. I could only awkward walk off.

"You are so different from other girls, I've met" he whispered under his breath.

'Ugh typical of him'

"Every other girl was someone I have no interest in, but with you I can't see myself doing that, I feel so comfortable" He said gazing at me.

"I see this girl every day on campus, we were friends and suddenly we just stopped. I was stupid, I was so mad that I couldn't have her. I just from then didn't want to feel pitiful, her friend was always confessing that she loved me. One day, her friend was drunk, and she started to kiss me, so I took advantage of the situation. But the next day, it felt so wrong being with her. I always keep regretting not telling her, getting rejected would have been better than this" Noah confided.

"Why don't you just tell her like you told me?" I implied to him.

"I wouldn't because after seeing you, I don't feel like I need anyone else" He said.

I was speechless. He liked me all that time. We continued strolling.

These damn heels. I continued to wobble with every step. Noah gripped onto my arm to stabilise me. His eyes locked with mine. His brunette locks slightly covering his eyes. His nose bridge, high and defined. He leaned in and kissed me roughly. I felt myself instinctively kiss him back. He moved to place kisses on my forehead.

My phone suddenly vibrated

'BAKA is Calling'

"Hello"

"Trinity, your little sister came to my dorm looking for you, she was all soaking wet and she passed out"

"I'll be right there, ok, I'll leave right now"

I began to walk back, I felt a hand grip my wrist. My hair flowed as I turned around.

"Can't you stay with me for a bit longer? Please I love you so much" He pleaded.

"I love you too, but I'm sorry I can't" I said as I freed myself from his grip.

"I'll find you again" I heard him say in the distance.

I ditched the shoes and quickly got into the car and sped off.
