Chapter 3- Born a Model

After 16 years...

Jessie's POV

Graduation day ngayon, at andito ako sa school kasama ang mama at papa ko. Yung totoo tropa? Kinakabahan ako eh, kasi I have to deliver my valedictory address infront of the whole school.

Kamusta naman yun? Andaming tao, nakakahiya. haha. Kaya nga iniisip ko nalang na nasa room lang ako tapos puro kaklase ko lang silang lahat para less kaba diba?

*Clap clap.*

"And to give her speech, let us all welcome our class valedictorian A.Y. 2013-2014, Jessie Alian De Guzman!" sabi noong emcee, narinig ko pangalan ko eh, kaya ayun, lingon agad ako.

inhale...

exhale...

okay? game na.. ito na ang speech ek ek haha.

No choice naman ako. Kaya ito na.

ehem..

"To all my mentors, to our valued guests, to all of the parents watching their son or daughter as they march on, to all my fellow graduates, a pleasant afternoon to all of you. First of all, I want to thank God for giving me a blessing to be part of this celebration.

I wouldn't have the privilege to deliver this speech if it weren't God's blessing. Thank you for all the parents who strived hard just to give us proper education. Thank you for our teachers who taught us academically and even morally. To my friends in this institution, thank you for being with me in this journey of mine. Now, during these occasions, we tend to think of goodbyes, an end to a long built companionship, but we should not. It is only a sign of something new approaching. A new adventure of our lives. We'll be graduating, we'll be leaving this school, but we, will never forget, what this institution gave us. ............(fast forward..)... I thank God for all the wisdom, thankyou, and GOD BLESS us all.

Matapos kong magsalita ay bumalik na ako sa aking kinauupuan at agad naman akong sinalubong nina mama at papa ng yakap. So Sweet yeah.? haha.

"We are so proud of you anak" sabi ng mga magulang ko ko sa akin. I feel so blessed. Hindi man kasi kami ganoon kayaman. Pero pinupunan nila mga pangangailangan ko. Wala na akong mahihiling pa pagdating sa mga magulang ko, wala man sakin ang lahat, pero parang ganun na rin yun. haham I have my parents, at yun ang treasure ko.

I'm into modeling pa ngayon. Kasi naextra ako minsan  sa mga photoshoots para naman may pambili ako ng projects ko. Para hindi naman ganoon mahirapan sina mama at papa.

Madami pa naman akong pangarap sa buhay, gusto ko maging successful at maging kaclose ni Mommy A. haha. sino nga ba si Mommy A? si Alice Montaire yun. Isa sa mga kilalang pangalan sa showbiz, nagstart rin siya as model. Diba ang babaw ko? Nagpapakafangirl na naman ako.

Natapos ang graduation at nagkaroon kami ng family date sa isang restaurant sa Makati. Gabi na rin naman kasi kaya kaming tatlo nalang muna.

Pagkagising ko nang umaga ay tumambad sa akin ang apat na envelope na wari ko ay entrance test results. Dahil may logo ito ng iba ibang universities na inapplyan ko.
