Peter when he got home one day to get the news that you had died. The Avengers had been fighting Thanos and being Peter's girlfriend and Tony's daughter meant that you were a target for Thanos so he could cause pain to those who loved you.
Peter had gotten home after being with Tony for a while at the Avengers tower. He had been at the tower for almost a week but made sure to text you every night. However, for the last two nights you hadn't replied which worried Peter but he tried to convince himself that you just were really busy. You had been staying in Queens with Pepper, your mother, on Tony's orders. However, when Pepper left the house to go and get some supplies, Thanos attacked.
When Pepper came back she found you with a knife right through your chest. Your lifeless body lay there on your bed. You looked peaceful but Pepper saw that one of your cheeks was tear stained.
She tried to tell Tony about what happened but he didn't pick up the phone until after Peter had left to go back to Queens. Pepper had told Aunt May so that she could pass the information on to Peter.
"Peter, honey." She started, not quite knowing how to inform Peter of his girlfriends death.
"Yes Aunt May, what's the matter?" He replied cheerily, not knowing what was coming.
"Y/N, she's uh, she's passed away." She told Peter in the kindest possible voice.
Peter's eyes filled with tears which he tried to blink away but it didn't work. He looked away from May to see if it was a joke and you were stood somewhere but it wasn't. He looked back at May's face as it contoured into sorrow and sympathy. Peter crumpled into a mess on the floor and started weeping. He was crying uncontrollably and as much as May tried to comfort him, he wouldn't stop crying.
Peter didn't eat for days and didn't go to school for a long time either which worried not only his friends but his teachers as well.
During the two weeks following your death, Tony visited Peter a lot to try and get him to eat and get out of his room but he wouldn't. Tony tried everything but nothing worked.
"Come on kid, Y/N meant the world to us both but you know she wouldn't want us to be mourning like this would she? You know she'd want us to be out and doing things!"
"I just can't Mr Stark. I can't, I'm not ready. Mr Stark, she didn't deserve to go! It should have been me."
"Don't be silly kid! It's not your fault! I should have put Pepper and Y/N somewhere safer and further from Thanos' reach but I don't blame myself. There is nothing you or I could do."
"I loved her Mr Stark! I really loved her!" He sobbed trying not to cry in front of the man that he looked up to. "I miss her so much Mr Stark."
