~Disclaimer: I own nothing of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street~

The stairs were creaky as the two men started their way up the stairs. The judge was very concerned and feared for his life, but knew if he didn't come alone Todd would kill him. Though Todd would kill him either way, so it was an obvious lose-lose situation for Judge Turpin.

The judge stood frozen at the door as Todd made his way through to politely open the door for him. The barber forced himself into one of his best moods. The judge entered the parlor as Todd followed in.

"Sir, I feel horrible by disobeying you but I didn't know any other way to speak to you," his lies rolled off the tongue with ease.

"Yes, um, your neighbor sent me a letter and how she was scared and wanted you and her safe. So what was so important, sir?" The judge stayed close to the door just in case. "And please make this quick, I have a lady waiting at home and after all you are wanted for arrest, sir."

Todd's eyes sharpened when he heard the judge mention a lady waiting at home. Just as Judge Turpin had mentioned before, he planned to marry Todd's daughter. "Of course, sir. And is this the lady you have told me about before? Your ward perhaps?"

"Yes, but it's none of your concern. Get to the point, sir," the judge's voice raised which irritated the barber.

His hand close to his holster twitched as slowly reached for his razor. "Oh I believe it is to my concern," Todd softly muttered. He then took a step in front of the door; blocking off the exit.

"Mr. Todd! You belong in the bloody asylum with all the other lunatics!" Judge Turpin fussed.

"I belong there?! Have you looked in a fucking mirror lately?!" Todd hollered. "You don't remember me do you?" Todd asked in calm, steady voice.

"You're the barber who almost killed me and attempted to help the sailor steal my ward!" The judge tried to yank the barber from the door, but with Todd's hand holding a razor it was impossible without blood begin spilt.

"I guess the face a barber in the dock isn't rememberable huh?" Todd whispered. His gaze then moved out the window behind the judge. Night had fallen and the stars scattered in the skies.

Judge Turpin was no beyond scared. The old fool didn't know the answer to Todd's question. "A barber in the dock? You're insane, I should of came with the police!"

"Don't remember?" Todd smiled. "Funny, cause you raped that barber's wife," he whispered. A piercing flashback shot through Turpin's mind of the masked party he had held roughly fifteen years ago. "You sent the barber away for life." Another terrifying flashback snapped in the judge's mind of the time he and the beadle were strolling through a garden. And in the garden where he spotted a young blonde and had her foolish husband arrested for false charges. "And now you want to marry the wife and barber's child." The judge then felt dead even though Todd never moved his hand with the razor. Judge Turpin's ward, Johanna. Johanna Barker, daughter of Lucy and Benjamin Barker.

"Ring a fucking bell?" Todd whispered in the softest of voices.

"No... there's no bloody way you escaped prison. There's no way!" The judge began to staggered backwards; knowing he was living his last moments.

"I escaped the asylum, didn't I? You need to do a better job on locking me up, sir," Todd gave a small, enjoyable laugh. His hand which held the razor twitched again as he wanted to run and attack the judge and beat the living shit out of him.

"Benjamin Barker," Judge Turpin softly uttered.

"It's about time you got an answer right," Todd chuckled. And it was with those few words Todd flicked his razor close to his head and smiled. "And it's about time you pay for the damn price."
