Draco's P.O.V
Sam is a dead man.
Slopping water through the hall leading up to the Slytherin common room, I stepped into the portal.
Looking around the dim room, I saw Sam and Blaise sitting by the fire.
Walking quickly toward him, I grabbed his collar and jammed him against the wall.
"What the hell were you thinking" I screamed, shoving him harder.
"Hey, the worlds without one less blood trader. You're welcome" He said, chuckling at me.
"This isn't a fucking joke. You're lucky I got to her when I did or you would be facing more then a simple drowning." I sneered.
"Im so scared." He laughed, sarcasum in his voice.
"Im the son of Death Eaters, soon to become one myself. We work for the one most powerful wizard and you think I don't have what it takes to kill you? Try me." I stated, now holding my wand to his throat.
"Chill dude" Blaise said, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Stay away from her." I warned, letting Sam's shirt go.
Walking away from them, I couldn't take another minute of these cool damp clothes.
Changing into Boxers and a T-shirt, I flopped onto the bed letting my eyes fade to black.

*Morning*

Waking up, I was sore and my head was throbbing.
Last night took a toll on me and I felt it everytime I moved
Hoping the heat from the shower would soothe my aching muscles, I hurried and washed up.
Checking the clock on the wall, I had 5 minutes to make it to potions.
Throwing on a pair of dress pants and a button up, I slung my tie around my neck and headed for the stairs.
Grabbing my shoes by the door and conjuring some socks, I ran down the hall toward Snapes door.
Making it just in time, I pulled my chair out and sat down.
Glancing at the empty chair next to me, I knew Anna was afraid to go to her classes.
She was afraid to go anywhere.

Ignoring Sam throughout the day was an easy task. Mostly because he knows how much id love to ring his neck.
My classes went by in a blur, my mind focased on one thing, Anna.
I needed to know she was ok.
Stepping into the Great Hall for dinner, instead of turning left and walking to my seat with the Slytherins. I continued forward, toward the Gryffindors.
About to go for the easiest and nicest target, Ginny. I was stopped by Harry who had alot of nerve standing up to me knowing who my parents worked for.
"Potter" I spat, looking from him to the rest of the group.
"She's not here but even if she was, she still wouldn't want to see you" He sneered right back at me.
Even though it was Potter and I hated everything he stood for. I needed answers.
"At least, tell me how she is" I asked under my breath.
I didnt need Gryffindors thinking the Slytherin death eater actually cared about them.
"Better" He whispered.
Nodding my head, I turned on my heals and went out the doors
I had to patrol for my perfect duties tonight.

Anna's P.O.V
I skipped potions this morning, thank god it was the only class I had with Sam or else I would have been stuck in my room all day.
Sitting down next to Harry in DADA, he gave me a small smile and a look of pity.
Rolling my eyes at him, I was sick of people treating me like a helpless victum.
"Im fine" I stated, turning back toward the front of the class room where umbridge was going on and on about how we "don't need to use spells in a safe enviroment"
"Well what happens when we do need to know them when we are attacked?" Harry asked.
"My dear boy, why would you ever be attacked?" Umbridge asked Harry in her sick sweet voice.
"Um maybe because Voldemort is back" Harry stated.
Umbridge wasn't to pleased with this and was now screaming down at Harry.
"There is no proof!" She squealed.
Now I was furious.
"Cedric Diggory's dead, lifeless body wasn't enough proof?" I screamed, glaring into her eyes.
"That's enough! Harry you see me after class. And you Miss. Brookes can see me tonight for detention." She stated, smiling.

Rushing through the rest of my day, I hardly payed attention to anything that was going on around me.
I just wanted to get this detention over with.
Skipping dinner, I conqured a apple on top of my bed. Taking a big juicy bite, I changed into a longsleeve white v-neck and lilac shorts. Letting my hair out of it's pony tail, it fell past my waist in long curly waves.
Slipping on my flip-flops, I finished off my apple on the way down the steps.
"There you are! thank god you ate something" Hermione said, giving me a hug "Where are you going"
"Oh, I have detention with Umbridge tonight." I stated, shrugging my shoulders.
"Well you better get on your way, have fun" She said, her voice following after me.
"Loads" I screamed back, already out of the portal.

Getting lost once or twice, I finally found Umbridges office in one of the corner rooms on the 7th floor.
Stepping inside, I was met with pepto-pink walls and meowing kitten plates.
The room was bloody horrid.
"Please take a seat" She motioned toward a single desk.
Sitting down, I waited for her to give me instructions.
"You will be writting some lines for me" She stated laying down a piece of paper and a quill. "I must not raise my voice"
Picking up the quill, I noticed she didn't give me ink.
"I need ink"
"Oh no dear, you wont be needing that." She smiled down at me.
"How many times?" I asked though tight lips.
"As long as it takes for the message to stick" She replied, admiring her kitten china.
Three lines into my writting my left hand felt like it was on fire. Itching the back of it, I continued to write.
Feeling the pain more prominent now, I looked to see what was so irritating.
In red bloody script, the words "I must not raise my voice" were etched into my skin.
Looking up at Umbridge, she gave me an innocent look.
"Something wrong?"
"No"
Shaking her head, she turned back toward the wall.
Writing 10 more lines, the blood from my hand was dripping down my palm slightly
"You are free to go now" She stated as I was about to write my 15th line.
Standing up, I didn't even look in her direction.
I could never give her that satisfation.
Holding my hand up, it was red and irritated.
Wincing against the pain, I knelt down against the brick wall and gasped, the burning was never going to go away or even subsided.
I cried out a little above a whisper and bit my bottom lip.
Hearing footsteps coming in my direction, I quickly stood and turned the corner.
But the pain only let me move so fast and my persuer caught up with me.
"Anna, we need to talk."
Hearing his voice was like another rip in my heart.
"I didn't tell Sam about your fear. Blaise did. He told him what happened last year during the 2nd task. I tried to stop him but it was to late."
He explained, pleading for me to believe him.
Still having my back toward him I stayed silent. I didn't know what I believed anymore.
Grabbing my left hand, he tried to get me to face him.
I screamed in pain, pulling my hand back toward me  and out of his worried gaze.
"Anna let me see your hand" He demanded.
"My hands fine, see." Forcing a smile, I put my right hand in front of his face.
"Other one" He stated.
After a few seconds of wondering if I could out run him or not, I decided to just let him see it.
Holding my left hand in front of me, he layed my plame on his and examined my cuts.
"Where were you?" He asked, a blank stare on his face.
"Umbridages. I had detention and this was my punishment."
Pulling his wand out of his robes, he conjured a bottle of cleaning solution and a wash cloth. Helping me over to the ledge, I sat down while he dabbed the cloth with the liquid.
"Is it going to hurt?" I asked, wincing my eyes shut.
He chuckled, "Only for a second but i'll get you through it"
Feeling the cool solution touch  my skin, i pulled back in fear. Not getting very far, Draco had ahold of my arm keeping it right in place.
"Owe, owe, owe, owe, owe" I whispered feeling the stinging pain.
"Shhh, you're ok. It's fine." He cooed concentraiting on cleaning my hand "There, do you feel it now?" He asked smiling at me.
"Nope." I said peaking one of my eyes open.
Watching him wipe away the blood on my hand, the script was clear to read now.
"It's going to scar isnt it?" I asked, giving him a sad look.
Placing a bandaid on it, he reached around to the back of my head and pull it toward him. Kissing my forhead.
"We'll worry about that later. Come on, lets go tell Dumbledore" He said, holding his hand out for me to take.
"Lets not."
"Why not? She very well can't get away with torchering students as a punshiment."
Grabbing Draco's hands, I pulled him back towards me hoping the closeness would ease the thought of warning Dumbledore.
"I don't want to make it a big deal. Dumbledore has alot on his mind right now and it was just once." I said stating the facts.
Pausing, he thought about my reasoning. "Fine but if it happens again. Im reporting it"
"Thank you" I said, giving him a smile. Standing up, I started to walk away.
"Where do you think you're going?" Draco asked, pulling my arm back.
"Um bed. You know the thing I sometimes like to sleep in"
"Not without an escort, these halls are dangerous this time of night." He stated, putting his hand on my lower back.
We walked in silence all the way to the Gryffindor common room, saying goonight, I was just about to enter the portal but something was bugging me.
"Hey Draco, wait." Calling his name, he turned around and walked back a few steps. "Why didn't you write me back........Over the summer, you never sent anything back to me." I asked, looking up into his eyes.
"Back? What do you mean back, I never got anything" He answered, his eyebrows pulling down in a confused look.
"I sent you letters, alot of them. I really missed you." I confessed
"Oh well sorry....I-uh Yeah, didn't get them. I'll see you in potions" He said quickly hurring down the hall without another word.
