An Unpredictable Summer : Jack Dail FanFic

The Beach part 1.

Ray woke up with the sun shining in her eyes. She looked at her alarm clock and it said 10:09. She groaned. She grabbed her phone off the charger and there was a text from Jack

J: Good morning. Want to go to the beach today?

R: Yeah. What time?

J: Come over at 11:30?

R: Yah see you then (:

She got up and went to her bathroom which is connected to her bedroom. She took a shower and brushed her teeth. She put on mascara and eyeliner with he pink strapless bikini and over a white crop top with black jean shorts. She walked down stairs where she saw her dad and brother sitting at the kitchen island. She grabbed a pancake from the plate her dad was putting them on.

"Hey dad Jack and I are going to the beach"

He smiled "That's fine. I have an important meeting anyway so I won't he home until dinner time"

Ray nodded "Ok"

"Ohhhhh Ray's got a boyfriend" Kade said teasing her. Ray rolled her eyes. She said goodbye to her dad and brother and went out to her Jeep. She pulled into Jacks driveway where she saw him run down it and he hopped in the car.

"Hey Raegan" he said purposely trying to annoy her.

"Dude" she said glaring at him and putting the car in reverse.

"Sorry" he said chuckling lightly and putting his hands up in surrender.

Ray smiled and turned on Buck wild again. She rolled down the windows and put one hand out speeding down by the beach stretch. She looked at Jack and he was staring at Ray.

"Why are you staring at me?" Ray asked

"I don't know. You just look so gorgeous right now. With your hair flowing and... gosh... your just so beautiful"

Ray blushed. "Well thank you" she said reaching over and messing up his hair

"Hey hey hey no no you don't mess with thus fluff" he said fixing it. Ray laughed.

"Hey I have to show you something so turn on this left and keep going straight down into the woods" he said. Ray did as she was told. She came to a clearing where she parked the car. Jack got out "Follow me" Ray walked right behind him where he pushed over some vine leaves and there emerged a cliff drop off with a beautiful waterfall.

"Jack this is breathe taking"

He smiles "I knew you'd like it" He sits down with his feet hanging over the 40 foot drop off.

"Jack are you crazy what if you fall?" Ray exclaims

Jack chuckles a tiny bit "I won't. Come on sit next to me" he says patting the space next to him.

Ray shakes her head. "Are you high right now? I'm only 16 there's no way in h-e double hockey sticks I'm going to sit down over a 40 foot drop off" she says it a little more ruder then she wanted to

"Ray I promise you I'd NEVER let anything happen to you. Trust me"

Ray cautiously sits down next to him. She gasps. "Jack this is no no too scary" she starts to stand up but he pulls her back Down

"Ray trust me if I'm here nothing will happen to you"

Ray sits again. Closer to him then she meant to. She had her hand by his and she breathed deeply. Scared so badly of heights. He took the next move and with out looking at her he laid his hand on top of hers and he intertwined there fingers.

Ray smiled and looked down at their hands. Her smaller petite hand fitting perfectly into his bigger hand. They sat in loving silence listening to the waterfall enjoying each others company.
