I walked inside and put my flowers in a vase on my night stand. I took my phone and FaceTimed my mom
R- Hey mom
M- Hey sweetie how's California?
R- Amazing actually.
M- I'm glad. How's Kade?
R- Good.
M- So what's up?
R- I have a question. Don't freak out on me when I ask ok?
M- No promises
R- Well I've been thinking about finishing high school out here. I've been thinking about this since before summer. San Francisco Bay Area High School is an amazing place to go and I really want to go there. Dad would be ok with it and I really want to.
My mom doesn't answer and she takes a deep breath
M- If you honestly want to. Go ahead. Your a big girl. And you make big girl choices. Now I have to run. I love you and tell dad and Kade I said hi
R- Thanks mom I love you
M- I love you too
