An Unpredictable Summer : Jack Dail FanFic

A surprise visitor

Warning: This chapter is very descriptive and emotional

-Rays POV-

We woke up for the 2nd event. We did our usual morning routines.

We went down to the restaraunt in the hotel to eat. I had pancakes with hash browns and eggs over easy.

Jack had 6 pancakes, eggs, Bacon and sausage.

Brooke had Mickey mouse pancakes. Collin and selfie had pancakes.

I was helping feed Hailey while Collin and selfie had a meal without distractions.

"Mommy will I see Sierra again?" Brooklyn asked.

"Uhm sweetheart I honestly don't know"

She looked disappointed but mumbled an OK.

We all finished eating and we went to the event room to help set up. Kade came down to the event room later because he overslept. He partied with some fan girls last night and he was obviously out of it.

"Jack watch Brooklyn for a second" I said as i walked back stage. With Kade. "What exactly happened last night?" I ask.

He avoids eye contact with me.

"Kades..?"

"Fine I got drunk and I had a few drinks!" he says punching the wall.

"Kade you idiot your 13! Don't you ever drink under my watch again! Mom would kill me then you. One night I trust you and you give me a reason not to. For the rest of this trip your not to be with out one of us got it?" I say.

"Yes Ray" he says ashamed.

I leave backstage just to notice Matt and Taylor aren't here yet.

I text them (R- Ray M-Matt T-Taylor)

R: Event starts in 30 minutes where are you!??

M- Ooo sorry we over slept. Coming down soon.

T- Ugh do I have to get up?

R- Yes! There's a 1000 screaming fans let's go lazy a

M- Slay Ray!

T- Someone took crab pills this morning.

R- Let's go!!

I roll my eyes and I put my phone away.

Matt and Taylor get here and we let the fans in, did introductions etc.

I put Brooklyn on her stool while we do the meet and greet part of the event.

-Brooklyn's POV-

Mommy and daddy are meeting fans and I'm pretty much just sitting there letting everything soak in.

All of the sudden I hear "Brooklyn Marie Zanip!" and I feel someone grab my wrist. That was my name before I was adopted. I look up and I see my old mother dragging me.

"Let me go!" I yell as she drags me into the back hall where no one is "Mommy daddy Kade someone help!!" I scream.

"Shut up you little SOB" she says as she throws me against a wall. "Your gonna pay for leaving me" she takes off her belt and whips it against my back. Hard.

"Stop" I yell in between slashes.

Hit.

Hit.

Hit.

I have blood all over my body and I cant scream.

"Why would you run away from your mother??" she yells. She stood beating me so she can hear my answer.

I look up from the corner where I was sitting. "I-I dont know. You were mean to me" I stutter with bloody tears flowing down my cheek.

She hit me again "You know its bad to run away from mommy. Hit.

"But your not my mommy!" I say sobbing.

-Rays POV-

After awhile I decided to take a break and go check on Brooke. She's gone.

"Jack!" I yell "Brookes gone!"

"What??" he yells standing up.

"Yes she's gone!"

All the fans go quiet as Jack, Collin, Selfie, Matt, Taylor and Kade and I all go frantically looking for her. Security makes sure the fans stay in place while we search for our little girl. She's not backstage.

We run through the double doors down the back hallway when we hear Brooklyn cry. "I want mommy" We hear another female voice yell at her.

We all follow her cries when I see her sitting in a corner with cuts and bruises as a women stands over her yelling.

I push the lady away from Brooklyn and I pick her up hugging her and trying to calm her.

Matt calls 911 while Jack yells at the lady "Who are you?!" Collin and Kade jump in and start yelling at her too.

Brooklyn is now full on sobbing "Mommy it hurts"

I lift up her shirt to see slash marks and bruises and cuts.

The police come and they arrest her. They take pictures Brooke's back for filing purposes.

She's still screaming and crying into my shirt. She's holding onto me for dear life. "Mommy don't let her take me" she cries.

I try calming her as I carry her back up to the hotel room.

I give her a bath so I can try and clean some of her cuts. She's now done crying but she flinches whenever the washcloth touches her injured back.

Jack comes in and says she's arrested and will be in jail for life for child abuse. Phew.

I finish bathing speechless Brooke and we all go to sleep. It was a long exhausting day. I'm scared for my little girl though.

so that was a pretty detailed chapter and it was emotional to write.

Yay I get my phone back on August 7th. thank god.
