You woke up in what you thought was the middle of the night. Everything was strange, and you were confused. There was chunks of the ground suspended in mid air, and whales swimming in the air. It was a truly frightening and confusing experience.

You kept looking around your immediate area until you saw a path. Ignoring the fact that it could lead to some void version of Jack the Ripper, you followed the path. There were some scenes around you, frozen in time it seemed like, that looked like they were from Dunwall (where Jessamine ruled with Corvo by her side to protect her).

You came up to a magnificent mahogany chest with superb quality and details. You ran a gentle hand over the wood work, and noted that it was smooth and glossy, even with all the detail in it. It was surprisingly easy to open, even though it looked extremely heavy.

Inside was a vial with a blue substance inside. You recognized it to be Piero's Spiritual Remedy. You lifted it, and studied it closely.

You saw something behind you in the reflection of the vial and gasped, almost dropping it. You whirled around to see the mysterious thing behind you, and was surprised to discover a man.

He was tall, with messy black hair that also seemed dignified at the same time. His skin was alabaster, and his clothes marked him of some importance. Yet, the most curious thing about him was his eyes. They were black like two chunks of obsidian that had been perfectly cut and they had a sort of light to them.

You hadn't noticed that you were staring directly into his eyes, and caressing the area right beneath it until he cleared his throat. You jumped back and a faint blush dusted your cheeks.

"I am the Outsider. And this...."

He took your hand gently, and covered it with his other hand.

"Is my mark."
